See this is what shits me. Gws does a salary dump and hawks go “former no 1 pick who’s previously shown elite football ability before injuries”... I tell ya what ,future 4 ths best we can do and gws -“done”....
Do the pies understand the concept of a salary dump??

You don’t get to push him out and then start getting picky on the demands ffs.

But of course we’re not hawthorn and this is Collingwood we’re dealing with- the team that embodied the term “wins trade week”
Bell will play hard ball and they will fold - he knows that we hold all the aces here

22 and 58 covers the Henry bid, that's all we needed and some late stuff to protect us if an academy kid we want gets bid on in the main draft.
They will pay a bid from #13 on wards. (assuming they bump down from a Green bid, potentially #58 not moving)

Is it me, or the overrating of St Kilda's trade period is hilarious.

Dougal Howard- meh. He ll have to play CHF as they have none. Traded out Bruce.
Zak Jones- meh. Nothing different to what they already have now. Ross, Billings about the same
Ryder- cooked.
Hill- only elite player really.

No top 20 pick. First pick is Pick 32. Won't get King next year.
Very Vanilla

or going up. I assume other academy and f/s will eat up multiple lower range picks. Otherwise you are correct, we will need to draw from next years first. If that's how it works

Pretty much what I said earlier their list was very Vanilla last year and adding those players doesn't push them into the top 4 challenging category. They'll still be around that 7-12 range at best.

At best. I see them as 17th. Maybe 15th if Adelaide can't right the ship and North falter. But even those 2 sides I think are better than the Saints, and I think the rest of the lower teams have more upside than the Saints. I'm hoping that future 2nd rounder we have will be close to pick 20.
