2612 to finish off the year. Not good enough to slide into the top 10, but it's pretty hard to be disappointed with this season.
While it will be nice to have a bit of a break and not have to fret over scores on the weekends, I am sure I will be itching to go come next year.
Since this is the last week of the season, I am trading purely on the matchup. Titch comes up against the Swans this week who he has struggled to score against. In addition to this, I would say it is very likely that he cops the Hewett tag, which kept him to 58 earlier this year. Seb Ross is...
Yeah, great minds thing alike :)
This game can definitely be fickle, which is what makes winning eliminator so difficult. All it takes is one bad week throughout the season and you are done. Even if you have a good week your opponent might have a better one. I wonder what the record is for...
2299 for the round. Thought I would drop quite a few ranks which luckily didn't happen, so it must have been a pretty tough round for most teams.
Hopefully Kelly is good to go for this coming week.
Based on your Bigfooty name, it looks like I am coming up against you this weekend. Good luck (although not too much :) ). At the very least one of us will make it through to the top 4.
2353 this week which is alright I suppose. A lot of average scores without any one particular player being too horrendous. Main concern is if Hurn gets suspended.
Sicily to Brayshaw this week. I would love to do some other upgrades to underperforming premos but at this stage of the season I think conserving trades for the next couple of rounds is the way to go.
Through to the final 128.
Next opponent is ranked 108 and has some interesting picks. I think this matchup is probably slightly favoured to me but who knows.
2325 in the end. A pretty good Sunday helped me score a bit higher than I was anticipating. Moved up 6 places which was a plus and also a bit surprising, but I will take it.
I was keeping Naughty to be defensive cover as I thought he would be good for a 60 or so each week. This new role as a forward really isn't favourable to fantasy scoring, so having him as defence cover for Simpson wasn't exactly idea.
Projected to score around 2200 this week so i hope I don't...
I didn't in the end because I thought Ahern might score well this week against GC. I just didn't see enough upside in the trade at the time to justify. I will wait and see how Ahern goes before I decide if it was a good option :)
Points in the bank are always nice. Sure Titch went 195 last week, but there is more to lose the other way e.g. if he got injured on 10 points for example. Given that Jelwood's score is higher than Titch's average as well, I think the safe play is to just take the VC score.
