Dogs land a beauty in Ugle-Hagan - but can they keep him?

Not sure Ugle-Hagan is likely to have an issue with a player who retired due to head injuries calling for a player who causes head injuries to be suspended

    Player Watch Jordan Roughead

worst case scenario for Collingwood is you have an off field leader who is a great club guy and great bloke to boot. Heavily involved in Ladder, women's football and indigenous reconciliation programs at the Dogs

Jeremy Cameron elbow on Harris Andrews

You don't have it cocked out in front of you, you may have your arm bent like that but it would be a lot closer to your body if you intending on spoiling

Jeremy Cameron elbow on Harris Andrews

You don't jump for a spoil with your elbow already cocked at head height - by doing that the only momentum you are creating is from the forearm and you are losing any benefit of upper body or strength in your upper arm - would be a horrible spoiling technique, but anyone with any football smarts...

Expansion Lowest finals crowd since WW1...

What fairytale is that? I was at the game and am very comfortable in saying that there were more dogs fans there

Expansion Lowest finals crowd since WW1...

Ticket prices are a bit of a cop out, doesn't stop other finals gets good numbers, last year there were more dogs fans there who also had to cover accommodation and travel expenses

Docklands Stadium (Marvel Stadium) - Discussion

Ideal situation would be too open up to the water side with some bars restaurants etc. and build the third bridge and some more things to do on the train side.

    Perth Stadium (Optus Stadium)

There are two more a bit above that, probably more likely related to the drainage systems or something

Why is Bob Murphy so loved and respected by all?

Only the next day to control the crowds when 25,000 people turned up to Whitten Oval, since then the cup has done heaps of appearances and they had it available everyday for a couple weeks at the ground so anyone could turn up to get a photo holding it for free. Lines got pretty long, they gave...

Why is Bob Murphy so loved and respected by all?

So you think he would stand there shaking his head if his coach called him up in those circumstances? Murphy didnt choose to be called and returned the medal to Bevo the next day, Im not sure what people expected him to do?

Will Etihad Stadium be ready for Round 1?

Yes because bookings for 75000 people concerts would only have happened since the AFL ownership late last year

Official Club Stuff 2017 Membership Tally

I would imagine Carlton probably have lower game day costs as more of the necessary facilities are already there, Whitten oval also already has some facilities. Collingwood intended on playing at Olympic Park which has pretty much no fan facilities, dont know much about Casey.

    Eureka Stadium (Mars Stadium)

Probably wont be an issue for a footy ground considering electricity needs are higher during extreme heat

AFL LIVE PASS - WHAT A JOKE!

Completely agree, the risks of rooting are pretty obvious and the terms on a lot of apps specify it wont work on rooted phones

    Reserved Seat Nightmares

I sit next to a guy who constantly has a go at Matthew Boyd, his son spends significant amounts of times shaking his head at his dads behaviour. My family of course over compensates and cheers Boydy whenever he gets near the ball - other people probably find us annoying...

    Boutique Stadium in Melbourne

It might be that the lower lighting levels expected for womens isnt as big a issue for the locals, like whitten oval at the exhibition game last year the lighting is significantly less than the near day like levels the afl expect.

    Are the Dogs over rated?

I was at the game and would note neither of those things actually occurred or if it did it was a very small minority of people

Surely the Bulldogs win is the greatest ever triumph in AFL/VFL history

I was at the GWS prelim and didnt hear any booing when Ward went off and to be honest dont recall them being booed as they left the field after the game, mainly cos I cant even remember them leaving the field as I was busy celebrating.

He complained about how long it took to be served despite knowing I was the only person there and that I actually opened the store 15 minutes early to serve them - he only waited for the other 3 to be served. He also had a pretty crap attitude and was unimpressed not all bread options were...

    Most Boring VFL/AFL Player Encounters/Sightings.

Once served Sam Newman, Gary Lyon, James Brayshaw and Glenn Archer at Subway in approx 2008 Newman was nice, Lyon was nice, Brayshaw didnt say much, Archer was a prick.

    Most Boring VFL/AFL Player Encounters/Sightings.

Saw Dal Santo, Riewoldt, Goddard and a couple other St Kilda players in Koh Samui in October 2008, they looked absolutely smashed but were causing no harm walking down the street

Play Nice with the 2016 premiership, where can the Bulldogs get to now?

Its called being a fan of a team with history, families who have supported the same team for generations, and with the bulldogs being in your 20s can easily mean being to 6 losing preliminary finals.

    Where are north at?

Its weird to interpret it as a good thing that 5 of them are 20 and havent even cracked a game yet, especially when you guys had injuries this year to senior players. I would much rather 1st and 2nd round draft picks who have played a few games
