First time poster here so not sure if it's already been mentioned, but has anyone had any issues/success with BoomBet?
I won a large amount on a bet yesterday and now they're refusing to pay me out without a stat dec. Emailed it back to them today, but not sure if anyone else has had any luck...
No, I want to train and play at RSEA, rather than TBBO.
The original post was asking about what we gain by moving to a fully fledged reserves team - using RSEA's significantly better facilities would be one thing.
Sorry, by small I was referring to the facilities. They aren't terrible, but they are well bellow AFL standard, which is where a permanent relocation to RSEA would do wonders.
During in-season, and pre-season particularly, there are up to 10 Sandy players (the top few) participating in training...
In my opinion, being able to train and play at the same facility as the rest of the club is a big thing. TBBO is very small and old, and that's beside the fact that they're pretty disassociated at the moment from the AFL team.
Sorry guys I've been MIA on BF the last few days and have completely missed my picks. Life is too crazy at the moment to focus on this, so happy to pass it onto anyone who wants to take over. Sorry for being a liability.
I'd love to see us do this...
Pick 21 + Pick 25 —> F1 (~10) + Elijah Hollands
Future 1st (~10) + Future 1st (~17) —> Pick 8 + F2 (~30) - Geelong
The trade with GC is a steal, however Forty3 mentioned that they're desperate on getting points and will take unders.
I'm also not sure how Geelong...
Sorry to everyone for some of my stubbornness when it came to my reluctancy to trade in future picks. I forgot to consider the fact that splitting picks into 3rd rounders is the best way to maximise the value of points in your draft hand - which I think is what Bletch was trying to explain to me...
Exactly.
Not to mention pick 8 isn't "a focus to refresh our depth", it's using two 1st round picks and and early 2nd to target a high end speculative player.
Makes me think some haven't done the maths on how many points and what sort of picks we'll need to match those (potentially very early) bids.
Ben will very likely go around pick 5 and Lucas potentially pick 20-30, which after the F/S discount is around 2230 points. For reference even if we...
Maybe I'm just the only one who doesn't want to go into 2025 with a big deficit of picks.
In which case I can already see everyone being like we are this year and just wanting a stronger and stronger draft hand, so we'd be stuck in a loop of trading in future picks until we trade out enough...
I'm not saying this is fake news, but that means our F1 gone, compo for Fisher gone, our F2 for Hollands gone, and in return a F3 at best for Dow.
How exactly are we planning to match the bids for Ben at ~ pick 5 and Lucas at ~20-30 with just two 3rd rounders next year? Are we planning on...
Have you got this the other way round? Doesn't it make more sense to be Pick 14 for 16 + 42? I'm a few pages behind so sorry if someone else has pointed it out already.
