    History of South Africa choking

It is true. Their mother of all chokes was in the last over of the semi against us. Poor Donald duck. Ironically enough, Donald has been calling them a bunch of chokers for the past couple of years. Getting rid of their overweight and clueless captain will help them.

Series Thread - South Africa vs India

SA win easily after making 289. Their pacemen blasted out India for 154. Morkel and Tsotsobe looked very good.

No wonder India doesn't go with the technology.

Crowd is disappointing but it's been well attended overall. It would be a working day over there. Probably going to be a dull draw. Not enough in the pitch without a spinner.

Can South Africa win the Ashes for the first time?

Trott played under 19s for SA, a bit different to guys like Usman. Remember Kieswetter too.

We missed White but they had Kallis and Parnell out.

    Matthew Hayden or Virender Sehwag

Sehwag has a terrible record in SA against the swinging and bouncing ball.

TEST SERIES: WEST INDIES vs SOUTH AFRICA (3 Tests)

Of course Botha's still chucking. Steyn should get life but Benn is a tool too.

TEST SERIES: WEST INDIES vs SOUTH AFRICA (3 Tests)

West Indies 2/21 after 7 overs. Gayle made 20 of those and then was bowled by Steyn.

    Under-appreciated Australian XI

Not sure about Boon, he could never be given out LBW and he wasn't an aesthetically pleasing batsman. Taylor might have faced better bowling than Hayden and co. but tended to struggle when the ball was moving. He was good at plundering the lesser attacks whatever the stats say.

TEST SERIES: WEST INDIES vs SOUTH AFRICA (3 Tests)

Windies really capitulated. Poor stuff. Morkel firing early and then Steyn wrecked the tail. It's a two-paced pitch though.

    ICC World T20 Thread

Great from Hussey but the spinner put almost every ball in the slot for him. Methinks pace is a better option in the last over.

    Mr Cricket.

Pity Hussey couldn't replicate this in test cricket. He's such a crab these days. I guess we don't always face Pakistan. what a bunch of chokers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ICC World T20 Thread

Funny to see SA smashed by two players the incomparable KP and Kieswetter that it let go. Fat Smith once again outshone by KP. England will go through to the semis, Australia should win. We have the best team on paper. SA's cupboard again remains totally bare of silverware. What a shit...

    South Africa vs England 2009/10 , 2 T20Is, 5 ODI's, 4 tests

SA will not show fight as they lack a backbone. We've seen it time and time again that they collapse under pressure. Aussies are tough, saffers are not. You wouldn't want to be with them in the trenches.

    South Africa vs England 2009/10 , 2 T20Is, 5 ODI's, 4 tests

Steyn didn't get the right field placings but the problem is he is an attacking bowler but had to be used as a holding bowler because the dreadful Ntini was leaking runs everywhere but that Procter guy said he was in in a holding role. Ntini looked shit in Australia. Why didn't they drop him...

    South Africa vs England 2009/10 , 2 T20Is, 5 ODI's, 4 tests

Blame the captain for that. England has a great record at Durban, they've beaten Saffers there most times. SA against us bowled poorly and bowled to our batsmen's strengths. They also fed Strauss the other night. England kept the pressure on them all the time. Strauss captained poorly at...

    South Africa vs England 2009/10 , 2 T20Is, 5 ODI's, 4 tests

Muppet is comfortably the worst captain in world cricket, always making wrong decisions at the toss. Batting first cost any chance they had. A seaming wicket would suit England more as SA hasn't got anyone who swings it. The only decent bowler they have on form is Morkel and he never seems to...
