Duncan Fletcher criticises Australia's behaviour during Ashes series

Which is why sooooo many Australians come over on 2 year visas but stay, often illegally, for much longer.

    Mavs

Jason Terry, who has been a good starting 'combi' guard in the League for a while, proved he could be a very effective point guard. If Harris develops, and not being under huge pressure will help him, they have good options there. Possibly as strong a 2 PG set up as any in the League...

Duncan Fletcher criticises Australia's behaviour during Ashes series

There is, of course, an issue of practice adjacent to the match pitch and on th square generally within the Laws. I think for Test matches the regualtions on this are stricter than for other cricket. If they behaved incorrectly to the Groundsman (heaven forfend) that is also an issue. BTW...

    Banning Lollies?

Australian bowlers used the wrong type of sweets. They used w(h)ine gums by mistake

Billy Bowden lost us the ashes

If Bowden had given Kasper out LBW (as he should have done) when he was on 1 in that innings.........? Bowden watched the shot, not the ball.

4th Test: England v Australia @ Trent Bridge

I normally reside on Boards where to discussion is more informed and mature and the Australians less whiney.

4th Test: England v Australia @ Trent Bridge

Waah waah waah........ Every decison in the Test has gone against Australia..... waah waah. Absolute bollocks.

    are the poms cheating ?

Will Ponting be allowed into The Oval for the last test? You're only allowed to take one bottle of wine into the ground each. He's producing waaayyyy more than that :D

Until this game Sanath couldn't buy a run for Somerset this season.

Who will win the right to host the 2012 olympic games?

London has come from nowhere in the last two years while Paris have been bidding for the last two Games. The fact that Paris already had many facilities built might give them an advantage but the massive regeneration boost it would give to a large part of East London could be of great...

    Tszyu v Hatton

Graham was an excellent defensive fighter but had a glass jaw. It was very hard to get to but if you did........ Sambu Kalamby (sp) nailed him good. Laing was a drug taker on and off apparently but they were far from the only part of his failure to reach the top. He tended to disappear...

    Tszyu v Hatton

Eubank was also on of the best 'sellers' of a fight in recent times. Very few people sit on the fence on the subject of Cwiff.

    Tszyu v Hatton

Amusing how Aussies refer to Tszyu (a great fighter and, I suspect excellent person from what I've seen btw) who was born and raised in Russia and only moved in his early 20's as "Australian" Lennox Lewis who was born and raised in England, went out to Canada two years after his mother moved...

    Tszyu v Hatton

Jeff Fenech better than any British boxer of the last 20 years - don't make me laugh! I'll just throw in McGuigan, Honeyghan and Lewis.

    Pistons v Pacers Brawl!

In the Maxwell case I understand the League showed some sympathy noting the nature of the comments relating to his dead daughter. He also showed a degree of contrition afterwards. In this case: What would have a happened if Artest had left the drink thrower to the stadium authorities, as...

10 best players I have seen in my time watching the NBA

IMO neither Payton or Kidd are 'locks' for the Hall Of Fame. They may well get in but don't bet the house on it. Stockton will probably ask for his nomination to be held back until Malone is eligible. They should go in together.

    Best Kepper Ever.

Alan Knott was considerably better than Marsh, most notably standing up. For me Bob Taylor just shaded Knott.

    RIP Keith Miller

I had the great pleasure of meeting his 'partner in crime' Ray Lindwall, along with Neil Harvey, some years ago. They were true gentlemen. When the subject of Keith Miller came up the smiles on their faces broadened. A wartime fighter pilot, a great cricketer and, so everyone says, a good...

The one Aussie I hope fails in Athens...

The BBC booked her as an 'expert analyst' for the Atletics World Champioships in 2001. They dropped her like a red hot **** after that. She was awful, really awful.

    Massive hypothetical

Shaq says he won'y play under any coach but Jackson. Shaq is having more and more trouble keeping his weight below that of the average rhino. If Jackson retires, Shaq could easily as well. What if Kobe's 'unavailable'?

    Massive hypothetical

I don't think the Pistons will repeat but if they hold the squad pretty well intact and give Darko two years of development they might be hard to stop in 2006. Next year, I'll say the T'Wolves. With the Lakers high in the lottery based around a starting five of: Fisher Rush George...

    Ricky Gervais Live - Animals

He was doing stand up in Reading, England over ten years ago. A friend of mine who lived there said he was by far the worst element of the Reading comedy scene (and you can guess how bad that is. He was rubbish then and, in my view, hasn't improved.

    Simon Taufel - What A Shocker !!

And there were some turned down earlier in the game that should have been given. The comment on taking into account the volume and confidence of the appeal is laughable.
