Yep, I did a 2-party preferred poll on the politics forum a few years ago, and it came back as the Greens would win government if only bigfooty people voted. The extreme left party who only 10% of people vote for.
I've realized you just have to let go on here and let people be wrong. It's just...
In in typical fashion of the modern left, you don't attempt to argue any of it. I suspect you agree with everything I've written, but have taken the tribal position of pretending to disagree (what would any sensible person disagree with?). I'm convinced the most of the left hate the woke stuff...
Well it got out to the public as it was always going to. They didn't need to "notify" any venue of anything if they were just going to continue to serve as normal on Australia day. Why would they do this other than to virtue signal? What is the purpose? The culture stuff is important (and it...
I get your point. A normal pub is open on Australia day just like any other day so why is this an issue? Well, it shouldn't be an issue. But it becomes an issue because the pubs themselves, in an act of pure stupidity decided to issue a press release saying they wouldn't be celebrating Australia...
All over the world, woke is losing money. If the AFL is profitable, it isn't because they are woke, but in spite of it. Bud Light lost literally billions of dollars in the USA. There was an immediate backlash to the Pubs here in Australia not celebrating Australia day (and then many of them...
I did a youtube video of this topic. If anyone wants to subscribe to my channel I'm going to be posting lots of Essendon and general AFL content over the coming months.
It will be interesting what happens from 2028 when we have a 19-team competition.
Currently Gather Round is the "23rd" match so everyone still gets 11 home, 11 away, and then the theoretically neutral Gather Round.
But it's impossible to have a 23-match season with 19 teams. It can't be done...
At the end of the day, you finish where you deserve to finish. 23 games in a big enough of a sample size. I don't think it matters who you play.
All this rubbish about "we have to play "X" twice, that's not fair" makes no sense because, firstly, you don't know where that team will finish, and...
Yeah but TV is important. Very important. Also, virtually all the other games are in family friendly timeslots for attendance. Friday night is not a work/school night. There are 5 games on Saturdays and this not a work/school day. There are two early games on Sunday, which is not a work day...
But why stagger games when you don't have to?
If it was acceptable for the AFL to do the "12:45pm - 3:20pm - 6:10pm" format for the final round, why not do it for every round? It only requires starting the first game about 20 minutes earlier, and moving the twilight game to 6:10pm.
The NFL is...
I think it's a good idea, if it's scheduled correctly. There is too much crossover with the three Sunday games currently, which obviously affects viewing audience numbers. The way the AFL scheduled the Sunday games in round 24 should be how they schedule all rounds.
Sunday:
Game 1 - 12:45pm...
Best show I’ve seen this year. Episode 3 was brilliant. The fact that the show was able to take Vic and make you know, deep down, that it’s not in his best interest to join this life of crime, yet at the same time, you want him to reunite with Oz. A show that can play with your emotions like...
No I just don’t want to engage with your obsession, because you can’t take the hint and let it go and because it’s just repetition of thousands of posts you’ve already made.
You just don't get it do you? I'm sick of you discussing this single topic and don't want to pour fuel on the fire. We all know what your views are, and making post umber 4,567 about it won't make it any better than post 4566. Talk about something else. You just don't stop do you - in many ways...
I can do that later (maybe if I feel like it), but as I said I'm sick of your discussing of the topic and I don't want to bore myself with it at the moment. It essentially comes down to the difference between legal and practical, but I don't want to get you started, as everything you have said...
No, I was merely asking you if you can recall an instance where you have been wrong. My motto is if you think you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room. It was just a question. I can't go through all your 19,000 posts for time reasons clearly - it was just a...
As I said, I don't care I was just curious. Yes, I'm repeating that, and I'm accusing you of repeating the same thing over and over, but it's still true. It's simply curiosity of the human psyche.
I'd love to see a different side of you. Give me an example of when you were wrong about something...
Now you're just repeating the same thing over and over again. Rinse and repeat. Not about your pet topic this time, but the recent exchange between you and I. You've already made all these points; you don't need to keep repeating them. I heard you the first time. Insane. Absolutely insane. You...
You can’t read between the lines at all. You're not beyond criticism you know. When someone makes a point about you only posting about one topic, when that person has 19,000 posts, it is patently obvious to anyone with a working brain that that isn’t meant to be taken literally. The point (which...
My God you are a weird one; really you are. Have a good day. Continue posting on it (just pare it back a notch). All I was trying to do was help. Jesus Christ. And try reading between the lines next time.
Oh wow, from over 19,000 posts you've found a dozen examples. Congratulations. What about the other 18,988 posts?
Give it a rest man. Just let it go. As I said, it honestly doesn't annoy me in the slightest, it's just a morbid curiosity as to how one person over 20 years can make, not hundreds...
Let it go man. I asked you to be a bit more introspective about yourself. All you do is post on the main board about one topic. One. Just one. For 20 years. I honestly don't really care. Really I don't. It's more than I'm kinda interested in human psychology, and I'm more curious than annoyed...
No you don't. Not on the main board. You've been posting the same thing, and only this thing pretty much on this board for 20 years. I'm not sure why either, given if you havn't changed someone's opinion on your 2001st post, why try on your 2002nd? Just get over it.
Sometimes you just have to...
