Toast Official - Welcome to Sydney Shane Mumford, Josh Kennedy and Ben McGlynn

Wow you guys did extremely well from us Hawks. Mcglynn will be very serviceable and I reckon Kennedy will be a future star of the game! Congrats to you guys and best of luck to the boys for the future.

    Bulldogs forward line=Dads Army!

Fantastic pickup for the Bulldogs, the missing link in what they need for a serious grand final tilt. On the matter of age, yeah sure its a risk adding another 30+ year old player to a forward line which already has two of them but surely in this case its more than justified. Three years from...

    So do we rebuild?

Lets get some perspective here, you guys went 20-2 in the Home and Away season and out played Geelong for much of the Grand Final. Sure, some of your key players are getting older but they would still have a few years left in them. If your team had kicked straight on the weekend would this...

    Buddy's Lawyer at the Tribunal

Cochran: ...ladies and gentlemen of this supposed Match Review Panel, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbakka. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense...

    Clarkson Re-Signs

So if Clarkson shouldn't have been given a 3-year deal BW, which coaches in the league should be given 3-year extension deals?

    Why Willo might be gone

Of all our players I think Willo is one of the few who is potentially tradeable. Having said that, just because he is tradeable, it doesn't mean we have to trade him unless the right deal came along and a 2nd draft pick is just not going to cut it. I would certainly want a quality defender or a...

Are Hawthorn a genuine top 4 side in 2007?

To be honest I think that if we win against Collingwood this weekend we will make the top 4 and if we don't we won't. If we are geunine top 4 contenders we should be able to beat an undemand collingwood.

What trades you guys thinking of doing next week??

I am going to hold onto Kerr I think. With Gibbs and Pettard as my reserves I should be alright. I am however thinking of Cashing in Hudson and then either upgrading Xavier Clarke to Mcleod or Heath Shaw, OR upgrade Alwyn Davey to Gary Ablett, Brown, or Lucas. Any suggestions?

So what was Wallaces "spin" after the game ?

Oooh I dunno, maybe because a 60 point loss would be less demoralizing then a 160 point loss?

Rugby League V Rugby Union V Soccer

Big fan of soccer but I also enjoy Union. League can die and stay buried for all I care though.

Hawk fans can now officially join St.Kilda fans..

Nonsense, just because hawthorn offered a one year contract doesn't mean they only thought he had one year left in him. It's club policy to offer older players one year contracts, even Shane Crawford is on this deal. Having said that I do believe #33 for an aging ruckman is certainly adequate...
