Broadbeach beat Zillmere by a goal. Zillmere seem to have lost quite a few of there better players. Broadbeach seem to have recruited well with a couple of recruits being in their best. It will be very interesting to see how these two teams go this year with such a high turn over of players.

my apologises i was wrong. Dont think Redlands are in a position to say they wont miss any player even if they didnt play much. They needed to pick up 10 top line senior players and not lose any especially not 5 of their top 10 including their captian and vice captain to have any real impact.

Rumor has it that big Bear Robinson is in talks with Brighton and is chasing some $$$$$$. North Hobart would have to be dirty on this after thinking he would be a certainty to return there.

Thats good news for Redlands. There was some talk they had decided not to play. They can't afford to lose anymore good players having already lost a few of their top 10 from last season.

heard that Rcihard 'Bear' Robinson has quit at Redlands and is heading back home to Tassie. If this is true this will be a huge blow for Redlands as he was ear marked to be captain this season.

Barge - My mail is the 'Big Bear' is going to have a look around. He is still not happy about the way he was treated at North Hobart in 2005 playing most of the year in the 2's. Demonstrated in AFLQ last season that he is a better player the a SFL 2's player.

Heard today that Richard 'Bear' Robinson is heading back to Tassie. Should be a good pick up for an SFL club after having a great year with Redlands in the AFLQ.
