I think its very simple issue really. DEPTH!
If you have depth you have pressure for spots.
If you have depth you can drop Hanh, Eaglton, Williams etc.
If you have depth you are really a top four side not just pretenders.
If you have depth you can cover injuries.
If yo have depth you have...
I have heard it mentioned a number of times over the past couple of Years. Today it was mentioned a bit as well which is to be expected. The thing is who is the main culprits. You know the type. Players with with all the skills in the world but choke at the big games or when it counts.
Who are...
Take out Riewoldt and that just makes the contest more even. They would still be 5 goal better side. We need our best 22 up and firing and other sides to have injuries to key personal to be able to win in the finals. Lets not even mention the mental issues we have. Unfortunately for us key...

If we don't win the first week and win in the second we play Geelong in the Prelim. That is not the path I would want. Mainly because even if we beat Geelong the effort to win might be so much that in the Grandfinal we could be on a big low.
You are playing at home so that is usually worth at least an extra 20% in effort. You guys butchered the ball going forward today and I don't expect you to as much next week. It all depends how much our boys want to win. Got a feeling it will be another practice match for us with little to play...
Just watched the Adelaide V Saints game. Adelaide seriously have no forwards. Whilst our defense hasn't been the best if the Mids do there job and our defensive pressure is good all over the ground we should win by 30 odd points. If we lose to them I will have serious doubts over our finals...
Wight is played out off position for me. At 200cm should be played in the Ruck and the sooner that boy is in the rotation at Willi the sooner he will establish himself as a good second string ruck who can give a chop out up forward or down back.
He has been really poor. Lets see how he goes against his old side were pride is on the line.
Thank God Harbrow has stepped up. Depth is looking fairly thin at the moment.
Confirms what most off us think on BF.
Players not trying because coach has declared these games a non issue for us.
My concern is when the players need to switch on and do the hard things they won't be quick enough to turn on there A game and the opposition will get away to a flyer before we...
At-least it won't be so cold!
By the way what about Hanh's shank that caused a turnover and North kicked a goal. That's OK because its Hanh right. Your guys are full off it really need to pull your heads in and get your hand off it.
Bagging kids still learning the game just makes you look...
Ha ha was waiting for that one.
Did you see the Willi game?
Everitt is struggling. Worse than Tiller. Hill had no idea and played badly. Both players need to get there Mojo back. Everitt (second year blues) I feel will need another pre-season to get his. Hill started so well but that was when...
No team has a match up for him so don't be scared if that is all we have. We need to focus on what we can control and winning the Middle with the other backs beating there opponents we can still win. Sure he may get 10 even but Lake should be able to beat Roughead and if he does there scoring...
Wight hurt himself against Port on Saturday and was taken to Hospital with a suspected broken Jaw.
With Everitt playing like most second year players do. I am afraid Tiller is it for now.
All will be revealed next week. Brisbane are desperate for a good performance and we are really struggling to put 4 quarters together.
Beat Brisbane by 10 and the smile will be on the dile. Lose and concerns will be raised even higher
