Hard to say at this early stage. I heard Buddy's draft interview didn't go very well with Richmond.
I find it ironic that a Footscray supporter started this thread being that the Doggies also passed on Buddy. Obviously Griffin turned out to be a much better player than Tambling.
You don't...
Probably a question that's been answered before on here, but are you allowed to jump on the spot while the opposition is having a shot for goal? Would be ludicrous if you couldn't.
Houli is still troubles by the calf he tore in the Grand Final. Doesn't look like he's playing much footy in the short term. I'd be more concerned with a forward tag.
RICHMOND SEASON IN TURMOLIL
Damien Hardwick's marriage break up is already having an affect. The loss of the playing group has seriously derailed their ambitions of going back to back to back, writes the Herald Sun's Chief Football Writer Mark Robinson. More to follow...
Probably more realistic if it's top 10 forward and defence, top 2 rucks and top 15 midfielders. What's the issue with completing your team in round 21?
Definitely one, possibly two, but all three is very risky in my opinion. Especially if you have Williams, Rowell and one or two other players returning from injury. Risk reward I guess.
Good point. We all want our mid price picks to end up as premiums, and therefore keepers, but the reality is how many of them actually do? Not that many in each position, which makes it even harder to get them right. It's like all the teams with Daniher, Ziebell, and Impey in them. Very high...
That's my point. Just because you call them a keeper, doesn't make them a keeper. If players such as Cerra, Simpkin, Rozee and Harmes are still in your starting 22 at the end of the year, I would assume you have no chance of winning, as I can't see them averaging enough. They're stepping stones...
We must have different definitions of keeper from a Supercoach perspective. Top 10 in their respective position at a minimum would be mine. I count 9, at best, with your list. Happy to stand corrected.
Correct. But they will be aclimatised to their resort accomodation, and only have to walk across the golf course to play. The away team have to fly on the morning of the match. A fair advantage to the WA and SA teams you have to admit.
I would presume that the majority of those Richmond 19 losses were when up to 10 of their best team was injured. Hate to use injuries as an excuse as Eagles will probably bring up Natanui and...
Dunstall totally stuffed up the rumour, which first appeared as The Whisper in the Herald Sun. Another club wanted to take him in the mid season draft, and didn't have the salary cap room to do so.
You may want to change it a bit again. If you're after a team full of unique players, you have succeeded. Unfortunately unique doesn't always mean good. I would keep Macrae, Gawn, Sicily, Pickett and a couple of other rookies and start again.
Really dislike this team. You have a stong midfield. That is all. Your forward onfield rookies could score 100 collectively on a bad week. You could lose three of your backline to injury in the first quarter. Each to their own though.
