Thoughts on Cameron Wood being re-rookied?

With the News on Hudson any chance of this dead in the water and I am glad it is. Wood was talented but lazy and uncompetitive. It is time for all parties to move on.

    The mysterious last list spot

I have been made aware that we were planing to take Garlett in the draft after he and his management assured us he had changed his ways. The club then became aware that he was out partying hard just 2 day before the draft and shelved the plans to draft him as he is just too much of risk. The...

    Tell us your Phantom Draft

Thanks for the heads up. I can see Grundy falling with few clubs now days willing to take a ruckman with a first round pick. GWS seem to have gone cold, preferring to secure a top ruckman once they are contenders rather than grow there own. North are most likely to consider Grundy strongly...

    Collingwood's 2012 Draft Prospect Talk - Picks 18, 19, (updated), 20, 38

There is a real possibilty with few clubs needing ruckmen and the reluctance of clubs to pick ruckmen in the first round that Brodie Grundy will be availabe at 18 and 19. Surely we would need to take him if he is available, and whilst unlikely this would have to be our best case scenario.

    Jack Gunston

I highly doubt that Dawes will leave the Pies but if he does want out I wonder if Adelaide would do a deal with Gunston and perhaps a second round or swap of first round picks?

    Chris Dawes

IMO Dawes will stay but if he has to go surely a deal can be done with our first pick aswell to get Sam Reid from Sydney or perhaps Jack Gunston and a 2nd round pick from Adelaide for Dawes. Both are young and would give the club a bit of salary cap space. I think we need to keep in mind that...

    Official Pick 11 Thread

I would be ropeable if we took anyone other than these 4: 1-Sidebottom 2-Swift 3-Trengrove 4-Blease In Regards to Swift and Trengrove: Do we all forget so soon the lessons learned from over looking Judd and Selwood because of injury? The fact is these kids are young, there bodies are growing...

Competition: The Draft by Emma Quayle

Most Inspired: Dane Swan: Picked late in the draft on one finals series in the underage comp. Smart footballer and an elite midfielder. Least Inspired: Des Headland: High price for a selfish footballer, never had the right mentality to make it as a star of the game.
