After an eventful offseason when we signed respected league immortal Broken and our rookie quintent bl4ke , Cuzz09 , Dupogi , kazzfkh and indoistriku , we kickstarted our S31 campaign against the new-look Furies. By the end of the week, both teams were ready to don the qooty boots again. On a Cloudy day at our beloved Stadium in the Sky, first time match-poster FootyGuy13 broke the news that according to the sim, there were no players to watch on either team. Boy was the sim wrong about us!

Vice Captain Metalcrusher lead from the front and capitalised on our midfield dominance to kick 7 goals, Muddiemoose schooled ruck opponent Tigerturbulance in a complete performance reminiscent of a young Dean Cox

whilst talented second years guero and tony also had days out. Millky95 relished his new role in the LG and lead from the front with 9 influential tackles whilst senior counterpart Matera92 staked his claim for #Matera4Mobbs. The defence also performed strongly with yours truly winning the bout against TJASTA in quite a display and I Dont Care giving Sterge a bath from backpocket, kicking 2 goals of his own. Talented debutant bl4ke was just way too good for Furies rookie Grrr in an effort that bordered on a training run.

Overall, we had multiple contributors around the ground and converted narrow 1, 2 and 1 point 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter leads into a memorable 9 point win.

From memory tony got 96 or 98 too. And Western Stand Warrior had a lot of possies but was at the coalface so his disposals were mostly handballs. Like MWPP said, it was a dominant midfield performance.
