Welcome Ophidian Old Boy’s, families and special guests to the S38 Ophidian Old Boys Qootball club Awards Night where we celebrate our fifth season and recognizing individual Old Boys who have excelled both on and off the qooty field.

I've brought DemurePrincess with me tonight.

In only our five season we have made our mark and lifted the bar for the other teams to only dream of reaching having won one wooden spoon, two Premierships, two EKAs, two Deestroy Medals, one Mobbs medal and 10 ALL-SFA selections which include two Captaincy’s and recruited 20 rookies. An outstanding result for the newest club that was forecast to implode by end of season 36.

A lot has happened in Season 38:

• Dingster the sexiest man in the SWEET.F.A. joined us from the Bears
• Over The Post after a break came back to Spotswood
• DemurePrincess was traded mid-season to the Bombers in exchange for gab213
• Former Bombers Captain Pugsley left the desert and decided it was time the pug should be pampered and live a life of luxury
• We made Finals again
• And we won lots of SFA awards that haven't been announced yet

We have several awards (based on stats from the S38 Home and Away Season) which will be presented throughout the night climaxing with the highlight of the night, awarding of the B.O.O.B to the player rated as the Best Ophidian Old Boy for S38.

After every game points were awarded as follows:

• 3 points player who posted above 70 posts
• 
  
• 2 points player who posted 50 to 69 posts
• 
  
• 1 point player who posted 30 to 49 posts
• 
  
• 3 points player scoring above 90DT
• 
  
• 2 points player scoring 70DT to 89 and
• 
  
• 1 point player scoring 50DT to 69.

The Best Ophidian Old Boy Leaderboard for each round will be posted throughout the night with the final results being posted at the completion of all the other awards being given.

The first award presented tonight is The BOP which is presented to the Best Ophidian Poster based on a player’s posting contribution off and on field which includes match threads, Team PM and media creation and engagement in the SWEET FA as a whole. Special thanks to Braklet for keeping our posting stats and Yapper of the week updates current all season.

An interesting posting stat is the two posters who came in 2nd and third only played 8 games (half a season) each!

In THIRD place is the lovable Pugsley with a tally of 1227 posts averaging 153 a game (when averaged with games played)

Coming in SECOND place is DemurePrincess with a tally of 1608 averaging 201 posts a week (when averaged games played)

This award is not just about post numbers it’s also about the quality of the posts and what Rob does is engage with everyone and continually brings people into the thread which is why he is a deserved winner of his second BOP.
