I just watched the full replay for the first time last night - it's taken me that long to get over the trauma of those tight moments!! :straining::D

I still break into sudden fits of smiling a month later, as the glorious aftermath continues to brighten even my dullest days.

Yep, I can’t help it-has been such a special month

Jack Ginnivan wore #33 and it was 33 years between our 1990 flag and 2023 flag

Completely unrelated to our flag but David Cloke wore 33, his sons wore and average of 33….. he played 333 games and in his final 3 career games (back at Richmond by then) he scored 3, 3, and 3 Brownlow votes.

Edit… and he played at three clubs …if you include Richmond twice 😀

It's a great feeling not having to wish away the weeks to get back to Rd 1 to see if we can go again. This year I'm quite happy to let time slow down while we enjoy the Premiership honeymoon.

Fascinated to see how we approach the pre-season, though. How do you motivate the squad after 2 years of such rapid ascension? Apart from the 'building good habits' mantra.

One month as Premiers.

Seriously though, how is it already a month ago!!

I actually get depressed thinking about how quick it's gone

I just want to go back to that day. It was perfect.

What frustrates me is that I did everything to really enjoy it, take it in and make the most of it and it still feels like it's gone way too quick.

I get what you mean. I think the boys are super hungry already to experience it again so perhaps they feel a bit the same.
Don’t expect any hangover from this group.

Don’t be frustrated or depressed. Enjoy the fact that we all witnessed history.

Just soak it all up and relish in the glory.

We could always get Steven May in to give the guys a pep talk.

I had forgotten to update my credit card. My bank sent me this message: Denied charge on 10/24 23:51 CDT at COLLINGWOOD FC, Melbourne, AU. Denied due to Card OFF for Credit card ending in 4758.

Thanks for the Reminder I also need to do that as Bank Card has been Changed since last year

Great question, to answer, it's clear the mental 'culture' is now immovable. Sure that might not be enough to secure back to back, however it's not likely to equate to a massive drop off in form.

The whole club is united like it has not been for a very very long time.

On that alone, it's likely we'll still be in contention.

Tom Mitchell's comment that he's never enjoyed his footy as much underlines that.

I did three nights in a row, QF,PF and Premiership

Mr Park is away next week. I’m thinking of having a Pies finals marathon in his absence. QF and then PF, to build up my strength for the GF.

But I’m still a bit scared to watch it. What if we lose?☹️
