I love the way he simplifies things to make a point. Like the “out of form” questions. “What is form? Just do something better and you’ll feel better about yourself”.Agree - fixed.
As Fly would say, used the windscreen wipers.
Noticed we no longer get "nutted at the clearances"?I love the way he simplifies things to make a point. Like the “out of form” questions. “What is form? Just do something better and you’ll feel better about yourself”.

yes that's an ongoing frustrationAre we ever going to see the goal line footage of that Naicos shot in the last quarter?
Honestly if that wasn't over the line prior to being touched it was so close it at the very least needed to be replayed by the broadcaster.
Would or should I say could still have been a goal to rival one of his dads best and yet we don't even get absolute clarification.
I still cant understand how they didn't call for a review. Are we ever going to see the goal line footage of that Naicos shot in the last quarter?

I’ll review it for you now mate…I still cant understand how they didn't call for a review.

That needed to go to review at the minimum, and I believe it was a goal that wasn’t reviewed so channel 7 won’t show a replay/different angle. Are we ever going to see the goal line footage of that Naicos shot in the last quarter?

Looked at it frame by frame after the game as I thought it was out of bounds live and the ump behind him was peering side to side trying to get an unobstructed view. Not a Jeremy Cameron level howler, but one that could have been debated for years had we not won.would also like to see the boundary line and mccluggage leading to the final Daniher goal
It’s very difficult to see how that could possibly not be out of play.Looked at it frame by frame after the game as I thought it was out of bounds live and the ump behind him was peering side to side trying to get an unobstructed view. Pendles on his podcast said it was touch and go and he was amazed it wasn’t reviewed and he was right behind NickI’ll review it for you now mate…
…goal!

Possibly. The problem with the McCluggage was the boundary ump being caught out of position, he was behind with players in between, so would have bloody difficult to spot the footy going over the line for a few seconds. Reckon in time we’ll see the review system extended, not sure what that would look like, but I wouldn’t mind a captains review (1-2 per game only).I've wondered for some time if there actually is a directive to boundary umpires that when in doubt pay it as in
Just put padding on the fence and have no boundary line.Possibly. Soft.Just put padding on the fence and have no boundary line.
The padding is to protect the wall from BruzzySoft.
Strange how they review some and not others. Are we ever going to see the goal line footage of that Naicos shot in the last quarter?

Or calling for it and ****ing it up roylaly so a team misses the 8..Strange how they review some and not others.
I was also amazed that Sidey's goal line mark in the PF was not reviewed. Was close but looked OK.
Having said that, at least the umpires had the guts to make the calls, nothing worse than calling a review when it's obvious.
