Broad spent the last 14 min of the game on the bench ... Grimes more likely to come back in for him

Great to hear Yze making mention of Ben's game. What was his disposal efficiency? ... really started to see his elite kicking consistently for the first time at AFL level

94% disposal efficiency yesterday B Miller.

On what? something like 18 disposals ... The slippers on him and Brown ... not to mention Banks ... are going to be Absolute Weapons for us going forward ... and falls right into Yzes game plan ... which fits the Stand rule era too ... definitely something to be excited about!

Gibcus to return and play the Grimes role next year.

Play to his strengths which is an intercepting animal

Let Miller and Young lock downs
Was thinking about this earlier. If Miller continues to impress and Young keeps improving, we could use Gibcus forward next year. Especially with Broad, Trezise and Brown back there.

Looking at Gibcus, if he can get a fair run, could be like Taylor for us. He would be dangerous with Brown as well taking over the Broad role in the long term.

If Miller keeps up his disposal and composure then him, Young and Gibcus would be weapons.

To be fair to Miller as well, it is amazing what can be done when there is pressure up the ground.

I also really love to see Archie May given a go at AFL with our depleted KPF stocks
I watched Miller and Archie May both play as KPD in the pre season match Sims. My immediate takeaway formthe two matches I watch was that May was a natural defender and read the ball well. The two players rotated on bolta and kozzi

lynch and balta going down most likely means Miller will need to go forward .
He is not a forward when are people going to learn, he is playing well as a defender again.
you don't move them especially when our backline has just as many holes.

Hopefully they leave Miller back. Even against Port he looked composed and confident. Young on the other hand looks stressed. They should try Young forward. Worst case scenario, he fails and we bring him back to defence.
Young played forward before we turned him into a backman, this isnt the worst idea, but they wont.

Grimes getting on, should retire this year IMO.

Broad not starting the year well and might be a trade option.

So our backline this year is going to have to be Young, Miller, Broad, Brown, Vlastuin, Rioli etc. God forbid one of Young or Miller gets a long-term injury.

Miller has been very solid and I think has what it takes.
