OK, I've removed about three pages of posts.

Please do not use this thread to speculate about Oliver's private life – medical or otherwise.

Regardless of the veracity of your rumour, or what you know/have heard, if it's not public knowledge, just don't post it.

I don't want to turn this place into Demonland, but if you can't see the potential harm that this sort of rumour-spreading can cause (regardless of your intentions), then perhaps it's best if you take a bit of a break.

Thanks.

Not endorsing it btw – he's going to carry on like an edgy teenager until he retires despite people trying to straighten him out. Just saying there's no point getting too heated over it as it's just low-level rage-bait mostly.
Yep who gives a crap. If he really wants the last laugh he needs to get himself fit and ready and stick it up everyone next year.

I think you're giving him way too much credit

Exactly. Who cares lol. I'd rather embrace his looseness than take pot shots. Maybe he can get to Stewie Dew levels of fitness? Have him float around the half forwardline kicking bombs from outside 50? Probably less damage there than in the middle

I could imagine Oli in another world without footy... being a little bit Mick Nolan-ish.

Maybe North might be a player interested in Oli, this time next year.

Shows how ****ing dense the bloke is that he was surprised after pissing on the club and it's supporters for 2 years.
Typically, you would show surprise if your employer are telling you one thing to your face and then end up doing another thing.

You mean like Clarets been doing for years?
You mean like how a grown man had to sleep on the couch of a pregnant ladies house because you can't be trusted?
You mean like how some of the coaches had to go on their personal time to clean his house and he still shit on them in the preseason?

He's lucky he's on such a massive contract or he'd be long gone from the club

Doesn't show up for the start of pre season. Clearly desperate to make a change aye
I think it's only mandatory for 1-4 year players and optional for the others

That said i agree with what you're saying, there was a good turn out of older players and "trying hard" Oliver wasn't one of them

I know it's mandatory, but Hore, Tmac and a few others were there. Surely when you ****ed up last year and you promised you'd be back to your best you'd do everything you can. Immediately if tells me it's bullshit and he doesn't care

on that unlaced podcast he did last month he said he'd be back day 1 with the 1-4 year players. Even worse to be declaring that publicly and not showing up.

Tracs already been training in the US. He might still want to leave next year but that's the difference between a pro athlete and a ****wit

It's funny that Trac got the media beat up for not attending the best and fairest because he's off training, but Oliver yesterday flies under the radar failing to make the bare minimum appearance at training (optional or not)

I'm pretty sure the club was trying to undermine trac after his family went after them. It was embarrassing

Oliver is home with family dealing with a personal family matter. Nothing to do with him. No big deal lol

Source? I couldn't find anything about this.

Fair enough if he's dealing with something serious back home though.

I'd believe him and would be more sympathetic to his problems, had he not disgraced himself, his club and the league in the past 2 years. As it is, I can't help but have the impression that he is using this as another excuse.

Here's hoping that I am wrong and he has a legitimate reason, but its Clarry so who knows.

Okay i wasn't to know that. If only some group of people that follow AFL could have idk, conveyed that information to me somehow and i would have shut up and left it be
