I'd like to believe this and if Seedsman, Knight, Milera, Menzel, Hampton and Wigg have good pre-seasons then we will find out. I am also very hopeful that The Mighty Thor will be demanding a game. He tackles hard and has plenty of run and carry.

Is it Mackays fault if he keeps getting selected. If no one comes up and outperforms him to force their way in.

No, but he is still shit.
No, but do you expect people to make him out to be something he's not? He's been consistently one of our worst players over the last 3 years. He's got 2 more years contracted, not his fault obviously, but is the first from the last 22 that needs to go. Even if it takes 5 players before we find someone better, we've got to do it because Mackay is a constant failure when the pressure is turned up.

He still has camp batting for him.
The B&F voting was telling. DMack finished 20th. Only regular player he beat was first year McGovern. Only just ahead of Brad coming off lti and missing plenty of games.
But not the person that awarded him that contract.
Equal 22nd on votes per game which is actually an improvement on his previous 2 years.

I don't think we'll have time to make the change. We'll bring Sumich in hopefully but I doubt we're getting rid of anyone. With Noble going the club will be keen to appear stable and not be making too many changes.
There's a way out where everyone saves face. Campo takes on the 2's and a lesser development role to concentrate more on his business and young family. Keeping him away from the midfield and selection table. But we can't be worried about external opinions, if we were, Sando would only have just finished up. Clarke to return to full time veterinary duties. With his charisma on show during the chant night, I'm sure there's a veterinary TV career in his immediate future.
