A very soft effort in tackling an opponent in the middle of the ground that ended up with a goal against was what stood out. Most of his game was on the outside and nowhere near his opponent which was costly when you look at his opponents stats. :stern look

I have a mate who barracks for Sydney who reckons we've done "very well" with the Stephens deal.

I think he will be a solid role player for us, never a game winner but a solid runner and link up man. Not sure why just a feeling I have

I'll admit I had the pitchfork ready to go after the Melbourne game and definitely wasn't impressed despite the good start against GC.

If he keeps building, he cements his spot as a winger. No question in my mind.

Same. I don't mind him. If he played at another club though, I doubt I'd rate him.

Considering his age, experience and number of games he has been given I'd say he has put together something quite close to worst season of football I've seen from a North Melbourne player.

Whatever. I don't rate him and don't see a future. He's not on his own and I'm done worrying about it. He might hang on and be a "gun" when the team is flying but it will be built on the back of his team mates.

I've been a hater, but I've gotta agree. Opened the game up at times with his run and kicking.

Not convinced on this guy. Made some pretty costly errors and we needed better. Seems to panic under pressure too often

On the fence still , timid as a cat but looks like he could posess a bit of composure we are crying out for in time. wont hold the smothered kick against him.

Started off well then went missing in qt 2/3 and then finished off ok

Trepidation with this bloke but that was probably his best game. Interested to see how he goes in the cold next week with a bit of confidence.
