I don’t care if he’s soft if he’s getting it 25 times a game but his getting it under 15 times a game
I’m with you……but he does a lot of that “unrewarded running”, so hopefully, as we improve even slightly his numbers could easily go up. Really want him to succeed, his foot skills are beautiful

Yes skills are great - must be running to the wrong spots. Should look at some tape of Scott and hi seems to find the ball a lot more than dyl does.

He plays the fat side wing a lot, which pretty much means you don't get used unless it's on the switch, and we aren't a side that switches often or well. You'll often see one wing has 25 disposals and the other 15.

His running patterns and positioning is actually really good, the best of our wing options.

As others have mentioned his problem is when he gets to the contest, both physically, and he also kind of panics when the ball is up for grabs.

Was noticeably less timid towards the end of the season and if as reported it's after a spray or call out then that's awesome, both for demanded standards and for Dylan's efforts.

Getting called out?

The only people that missed that incident were the Footy Record kids counting how many Records they had not sold downstairs!

Billy Hartung must be wondering what he did wrong to only get one year when this bloke gets four!

Did no one scout him prior to recruiting him?
Yep. Great that Clarko and Adcock are instituting standards but if the club says hardness at the footy are non-negotiable then why did the footy department recruit a guy who is doesn't possess that attitude? It's not like Stephens possesses skills or speed that makes up for it.

Yes, that is a valid risk. Hopefully the positive reinforcement was there, it is all mental after all.
Im hoping Parker's arrival is a positive for him, and having been at the club for a year now, he continues going in hard, played some solid games toward the end of the year and hoping he has more upside in him and continues on that trajectory.
