Obviously there is going to be a late change for Hampson..maybe AJ? Not like for like but Zac will play back.

Its a massive mistake. hampson is in better form than Setanta was when he was picked. And yet another one where the MC overrates our small forwards. Its annoying and its frustrating as hell. Warnock will be killed.

Setanta couldnt keep up with Ryder in the ruck, how is he going to get near Nic Nat and Cox?? (Not knocking his fwd play, just ruckwork)

Baffling to not see hammer in
I'm thinking Carlton must be thinking cox will be a late withdrawal, otherwise it doesn't make much sense to expect warnock to carry the job of both the eagles big men, and to ask setant to go in and compete against either is just plain suicide imo

Given that Hampson has travelled over there named as an emergency, you'd think there is every chance he'll line up on Saturday night. Pretty smart by the MC if you ask me. Can wait and see what the weather conditions are going to be Saturday, and make a final decision then.

Mind games are there for all to see. Hendo named forward, Thornton back. No way that will happen either.
If by some craziness Hammer doesn't, they must expect Cox to be only just going. Would play Sentanta vs Cox if that is the case.
Think some people underate RW. Can, and will, show his high quality this week.

I dont underrate warnock, I do doubt his ability to match it with two of the most in form ruckmen in the competition for 75% of the game. Remembering that our game requires us to get first use of the ball.

Come to think of it, a couple changes may be seen if we go big. Bower must be a big chance to come in and start as the sub instead of 2e or Davies.

At this point I agree. Am really surprised at this non selection.
If Nicnat tears us a new one this will be the reason. He will jump all over 206 and Irish so our mids better be ready for it.
