The one really disappointing thing about 2020 from a Victorian standpoint is we will never get to possibly see Harry Taylor & Gary ablett lace up on grass in Geelong hoops ever again live. I'm not sure either one goes on next season two of the greatest In respective positions that Geelong will ever see irreplaceable really.

Only one change - allways been a Sav fan and wanted him in the team - Kolojasni should be dropped - horrendous against Pt Adelaide - but Scott and Scarlett wont drop Jakey boy

Geelong this week need to put up a strong showing ( but i cant seeing it happening with that slow ball movement ) - otherwise its the full circle turned - and it is back to the shocking 94/95 days - where every opposition club lined up and prayed to play Geelong in the finals

I sometimes wonder whether those content with just making finals lived through those times.

Pies are the best team of overlapping the angle when moving the ball, their ability to move from defence to attack caught us out in our last encounter and we cant let the pies get a fast start like they do against us

To be fair Kolo did ok against degoey even though he kicked 5 goals, 2 were from umps ( not kolo's fault) and 2 junk time goals

Hawkins needs to stay close to home. You don’t want Moore up on those wings intercepting marks, we may need another marking option.

I’d love Esava in but can’t see them doing it.

Danger and Menegola will have to provide marking power vs short Collingwood midfield.

I’d love Narkle in to freshen up front half, maybe for Lukey D who is battling to cover ground, absolute warrior but we need leg speed.

Collingwood a clear step up in quality as evident by that game tonight against West Coast.
If they bring that kind of pressure, we will lose in the same manor we did to Port Adelaide.

De Goey, Elliott, Stephenson . . . Scott won't learn and we will have to put up with a back six overcompensated with slow talls.

Fingers crossed he drops Taylor and Henry for this one.

Lol. Its was a wet weather low scoring game. And there was no junk time. Game was still on when de goey finished us off. And why should kolo stop trying then anyway?

We did take it up to them but got opened up late in the game chasing the win that exposes the defence but I would have Stewart on Degoey this time and Kolo on Mihocek Hendo on cox

Few selection headaches. I think we need to bring in both Narkle and Clark. We need some spark (deliberate..). A tall defender needs to go. Miers should go as well but I’d play him deep. Could entertain dropping Tuohy - aside from the one goal he did not much else. Ablett, if he wasn’t Ablett would be likely dropped.

Not sure we have good news... but the less bad news...

Stanley got thru ok and appears to not be injured. Grundy is not NICNAT, but still the 2nd best ruck in the game. If Stanley can push around the ground and kick a goal or two and provide a target down the line for us that a break even. Again not saying he cant beat Grundy or is as good as, he can level that contest.

Making Moore accountable. This had nothing to do with Tomma, although he needs a good game. Its more about whom ever plays as # 2 KPF.
Be it Sav, Rohan or whatever, they must compete and take marks away from Hawkins. Must must must. If not, Moore and co will will zone off and clean up across half back.

Cox - I think it needs to be team approach. Having Stanley in as #ruck allows BLitz to be Capt everywhere... but id rather he just be defender. And that means one of HT or Hendo are out. Not making the call whom, but CS made the call on Dasher and Moons in the 11 GF.... tome to be ruthless again ( wont happen)

There is more but im still sore from the QF so thats what i got for now.
