BTW WHy so many Collingwood fans online now, apart from the ones who live overseas and interstate that is ??
Have you already left the ground, or u didn't go, cause u knew the Fagpies were going to belted ??? :D :D

HOW SWEET IT IS

What's so damn sweet is the rest of the comp seeing your rabble of a club finish bottom 6 for about 6 years on end (and counting!) It's absolutely hilarious watching the likes of Shank Murphy and Squibbs running around, getting your hopes up only to finish in the lower reaches of the ladder (yet again)

Keep the laughs a-coming Carltank!

Good to see the Saints beating the umpires and Collingwood at the moment.
Both teams have received 19 free kicks. Collingwood's season ended when Didak and H.Shaw were suspended for the season as far as I was concerned. Collingwood were never going to win a premiership without their best and probably second best player, along with Rocca, Burns and a few others, and certainly weren't going to beat Hawthorn next week.

Whatever happened after that infamous incident six weeks ago was a bonus and invaluable experience for the youngest team to win a final since Brisbane in 2000. We all know what that team did in the following three seasons, so the future looks beaut! :thumbsu:

Still bitter I see ? Do you know now it's officially one collingwood premiership in 50 years ??? :D :D
are u one of those people who cant count? its 2008, Collingwood won in 1958 and 1990. That would be 2 in 50 but i guess its hard to count to 2 isnt it?
mate i'd rather have my team have a crack with kids then play kids and miss the 8 but you wouldnt know would u cause how long has it been since Carlton played finals?
I know ur hurting from that comment!

Having read quite a few threads on the subject what Brisbane did next matters naught unless Collingwood will be getting a salary cap concession to match.

Oi numb nuts.. 1959 - 2008 = 50 seasons of football

Well done flogpie

Riewoldt just far too good for us tonite, we have had too many passangers, not enough winners.

But our boys will learn, time is on our side.

ROLL ON 2009...and wake me up when September ends.

I think Goldsack has had a ripper of the game. I hope he plays a lot more next year along side the other good young defenders we have.

Shouldnt you be painting your toe nails or something like that ?!!!

Is it the end for Salty Malty ?
He was comprehensively outcoached by Rosco Lyon tonight, now I'm still not convinced Lyon is a great coach, but he sure out manouvered the bristle tonight
