Dropped a couple of early marks he should have held but was generally good. Played in front 90% of the time and did well when it was his turn in the ruck.12 disposals 6 marks 17 hit outs . Decent game.

His ruck work was surprisingly good.

Dougal Howard is a good defender, kicking 3 on him is nothing to sneeze at

He's so close but it's not clear he is bridging the gap that holds him back.

If he cuts out the butter finger spills and pulls down one more big mark he gets his hands to, or even just continues to work on holding his ground he'll be a 2 goal a game player.

He's already 1.3 to 1.5 with his flaws.

On the move and in space he's extremely hard to stop even if he's marking is not what we want it to be. He's a giant with a giant reach very few players can legally spoil.

All of this but also he’s just a lovely kick for such a huge bloke, makes a massive difference when you can take your chances (65% career goal kicking accuracy is very good).

Will Peter be our most important forward in season 2022 and is his position under threat? This, plus more, discussed in this week's Bombercast Episode.

Harris Andrews. 2MP is really going to need Francis/Baldwin working hard if he wants to find some space.

He tapered off largely because we had minimal clear possession forward of centre after qtr time and when we did we hesitated or turned it over. It’s actually quite tasty to contemplate what he could achieve when up and about and our team dominating the midfield. His kicking is something that can make him a true weapon.

Stringer and Francis both did a bit of work to find him space :thumbsu:

When we were able to move the ball effectively, this guy looked dominant.

Don't think he will ever be a number 1 key forward, but he could be a handy number 2 if the right forwardline is around him.
