I’m kind of in disbelief at just how good he’s been. Our best player over the first three weeks.

What are your expectations for Wright at the end of the season?


When he's played a lot of football he averages circa 1.5 goals a game. That'd be 30 odd goals for the year.

If he gets to 50, HUGE win for us.

Already causing problems on his own, another big to kick it to, should free him up. When does Jones return?

Has to stay forward now. Gone to another level.

We can now finally build a forward line around him. His set shot kicking is superb. Will only get better.

Reckon it helps that he didn't have to ruck.

In the first half I was bracing for the vitriol that would inevitably have been posted here if the game had finished that way. I though he caught almost any ball that went to him which was 50/50 or better.

It just goes to show, put the ball to his advantage and on pretty decent forward craft and size alone he can trouble anyone. You're suicidal as an opposition coach if your best defender doesn't go to Wright. He converts at 3/4 regardless of the degree of difficulty.

I'm very happy for him. He's becoming the sort of the player that justified the early hype.

with minimal support is what it takes to get him to believe, to hold all of those marks? The gap from where he is to about 50 goals a year is not a lot. Hold everything you should hold and take one more 50/50 a week.

The switch may have flicked for 2MP….nobody can spoil him if he gets a jump at the footy and he is close enough to the best set shot in footy.
