Reckon it helps that he didn't have to ruck.

In the first half I was bracing for the vitriol that would inevitably have been posted here if the game had finished that way. I though he caught almost any ball that went to him which was 50/50 or better.

It just goes to show, put the ball to his advantage and on pretty decent forward craft and size alone he can trouble anyone. You're suicidal as an opposition coach if your best defender doesn't go to Wright. He converts at 3/4 regardless of the degree of difficulty.

I'm very happy for him. He's becoming the sort of the player that justified the early hype.

You think the confidence of kicking 3 a week against Geelong, Harris Andrews and Steven May with minimal support is what it takes to get him to believe, to hold all of those marks? The gap from where he is to about 50 goals a year is not a lot. Hold everything you should hold and take one more 50/50 a week.

The switch may have flicked for 2MP….nobody can spoil him if he gets a jump at the footy and he is close enough to the best set shot in footy.

Harry Jones back will help as well. Here’s hoping the belief is real and this keeps going.
