Went for scans today according to AFL Tonight. They didn’t say what for not how bad

Imagine if he showed up for the other 3 quarters the way he has to his last 2 first quarters

Imagine if he did not have to carry the second ruck and could play the whole game as a forward or heaven forbid we actually had another forward who could play with him.

Was asked to play the Smack role on Monday - push up to the wing to provide a long down the line option and then try and get back to a deep forward position to mark your own kick.

We are getting good value out of him, particularly given the lack of supply and poor delivery.

Still only marking half the stuff he should and just lumbers along when the opposition get it. Gets under the footy too much when marking.

2.5 goals a game.

I reckon there is maybe 1 more contested mark in scoring range that is realistically in him. No one pulls everything down. I suppose not having to ruck might buy him the extra time to get another shot.

I think we're pretty much there in terms fulfilling Wright's potential.

Was very good effort today. Wasn't helped by our entries but especially in that first quarter, I thought he was going to murder someone if they ran back with the flight of the ball. Easily one of our best so far this season.

The least of our problems - he's carried a huge load this season so far.

You saw some moments where he applied some god pressure. I saw some moments where he lumbered along while the opposition waltzed the ball out. A fair middle ground might be that he doesn't consistently apply good pressure.

He also suffers an exacerbated version of the Langford gait.

He lopes, big time, so he looks a little uninterested and certainly slower than he is. He ain't quick but he ain't as slow as he can look.

Do not disagree. Better system or even better delivery.
How good would it be if we had another good (does not have to be a super star) KPF to play with. I still think Jones can be that player. In a half against Port Melb he looks that far in front of any other KP player on the ground it was not funny. Problem is the injury stick has given him a decent wack so far.
Not really a discussion for here but the Blues are only getting value out of Cera , Hewson and a fit Crips because they have McKay and Curnow fit and in their prime.

He's really stepped up this year. It's crazy to imagine where he'd be if we had no injuries and he could stay at FF 100% of the time.
