He's in a form slump, that's for sure. Can't say he doesn't work hard though, covered the most ground tonight.

Think it's time we went back to him being second ruck though. He's pretty good at it and it gives him a chance to get a different opponent for 20% of the game

He’s definitely out of form - hasn’t kicked a goal for over a month and is not clunking those big contested marks like he was earlier in the season…I’d start him in the ruck against the Saints…

Moves as good, stronger hands, better kick, smarter forward

King ****ing wishes he has Wright’s work ethic and kicking technique, Wright has covered 15k in each of the last 2 games.

With Jones back in the side we have the luxury of 2MP being able to roam up to the wings. He has been good there last two weeks.

And his kicking action is accurate and uncomplicated. Don't have to look away when he is lining up.

Great game. But do we want him to kick 4 or 5 on occasion, or would we prefer to have him kick 2 every week? I say latter.

I'd love him to kick 4 or 5 on occasion, and to kick 2 every other week

In an ideal world, yes, but that ain't happening so it's either or. He tends to go weeks with nothing, and then produces a cheeky 4 or 5 in a game.

You see Harry Jones come back and he's consistently bobbing up to contribute week to week on the scoreboard (pure KPF stuff), so there is absolutely no reason Wright, who should be more experienced and has been on the park for longer this year, shouldn't at least be doing the same.
