Sitting at 13th for total. Much harder to average 13 CP a game for 23 games, then 15 for 5. Matt Thomas has played 2 games but sits at 20 because he averaged 12 in those 2 games. Thats why total is a much better stat.
Not to mention there are far more midfielders than forwards.

Well you need someone to go and get their hands dirty. Watching the final - he was about the only one.

Statistically similar to Fevola's output. Over his career, Reiwoldt has not been a great team player, and has rightfully been judged harshly by former footballers n the media. To his credit, the penny has dropped this year, and he's become a more rounded player, and is getting due recognition.

You've been sucked in by the media. He's been playing selfless football since 2011.

2011 - 22 games, 21 assists
2012 - 22 games, 20 assists
2013 - 23 games, 26 assists
2014 - 23 games, 18 assists
2015 - 23 games, 22 assists

Due to the large number of late bloomers, this draft more than any other raises the question of how much you rate longevity over top level performance. For example, Robbie Gray didn't really turn into a gun a player until his was 26 years old and in his 8th season. Unless he does a Boomer and plays until he's 40 he'll retire with maybe 6-7 seasons of elite footy under his belt, and 8 seasons of being an injury prone tease. Compare that to other guys like Boak or Riewoldt who have been guns since 2009/10 when they were 20/21 years old. Does Gray's higher peak make up for the fact that he has ~5 fewer quality seasons under his belt? At the moment I'd have him behind Boak, Riewoldt and possibly even Gibbs on output over their career.

Geez west coast did well in this. Schoey and eMac are two very high quality defenders.
Brown may not be that great but to stay on our list for 10 years isnt too bad either. He could have been a much better player if it werent for the injuries. Was really looking forward to him at the start of last season but after the ACL i dont think he will wear the wings again.

Joel Selwood
Todd Goldstein
Robbie Gray
Josh P. Kennedy
Travis Boak
Jack Riewoldt
David Armitage
Kurt Tippett
Bryce Gibbs
James Frawley

something like that

Boak and Armatige, above Tippett and Frawley?

Tippett is close to the best ruck/fwd in the league and Frawley is top 5 kpb. Those two mids are what.... Top 20 - 30 for there position?

Great list; the only changes I’d have are Edwards and Westhoff top 10, ahead of boak and Frawley.

I wouldn’t have Jacobs in front of Goldy. Sauce has no AAs or B&F and never been the premium ruck in the comp. Goldy ticks those 3 boxes.

1 Selwood
2 Kennedy
3 Gray
4 Reiwoldt
5 Goldstien
6 Hawkins
7 Boak
8 Jacobs
9 N Smith
10 Gibbs
11 Frawley

15 Edwards
16 Harbrow
17 Grigg
18 Armitage
19 MacKenzie
20 Lonergan

Jack Riewoldt is number two for mine. He will never get the respect he deserves unfortunately.
