From a DT/SC perspective, why couldn't this happen earlier before he peaked (because I missed the Grimes train) .

From a football perspective, have to feel sorry for him as his back really is starting to plague him and he is a really good player.

Interesting. A few knocks, so it doesn't appear to be muscle related, if you know what I mean. I'm very much an amateur when it comes to back injuries, especially Grimes' scenario, so I wouldn't know if this type of incident is unrelated to his previous injuries or not.

Oh well, now I'll need to decide between Grima and Hill.

Update on Peter Burgoyne for those sufferers like me

"When Josh and Peter were omitted I said they would be out for 2-3 weeks and they will be. It's not just a one-game affair and they're fully-focused on that."

This will be the second game for Peter Burgoyne to be out

Bailey confirming that Spencer won't be back any time soon:

luckily i had 9 playing backmen on the weekend, so will be able to slot mundy into the 7 this week, and still have suban as an emergency.

Johnson's injury is also a worry as he has missed the past three games, unsettling Geelong's forward balance.
The 2007 Norm Smith medallist is crucial to the Cats' attacking structure and will have to regain his touch and fitness on his return.
