just use your instinct and do a bit of research using the number of great dt resources out there...
Alot of people do a number of hours research into certain players.. We arn't just going to give you the hot tip on who we think is about to hit form or is a better option in trading..

I don't understand the push i've seen here in the past week for Cooney. Best year av. is 92.4. Good games record but been injured this year already. You should aim higher.

krakour - riewoldt

got the cash, nick is not at an ideal price but i cant just sit around and let krakour drop 30,000 when rieowoldt may only drop by that much aswell.

thoughts?

90% of trades this week will be Grimes and Cooney. Bugga that, watch all the sheep follow, there are better options out there kids, just a matter of looking a bit harder and not relying on BF to feed you.

Who would you say will average the highest over the remainder of the year out of Cross, Thompson and Bruce? Should be able to afford any 2 for next week to bring in for Hase and Rich, and my other 4 mids are averaging over 105 each(i think, Swan is my lowest).

I am thinking of doing
Option 1
T Tuck > Davenport
Hill/petrenko > Broughton
Option 2
T Tuck > Davenport
Walker > 389100k to spend.
Thoughts ?

Depends on two things:

1. Team Structure.
2. Bench Cover.

Which of the players you're trading in do you intend on playing on field?

I'm looking at trading Barham to Davenport this week to free up some cash in order to trade Ablett back in possibly next week. The risk i see with it personally is Davenport will most likely face the axe when Salopek returns from injury, although i'm not sure how far away he is despite being listed as a 'test' to play this week. If you intend on playing Davenport you'll want to make sure you have adequate bench cover, so in the case that you do, the money you'll gain from this trade would be worth it.

Also, if you haven't already got him in your side i'd recommend a Hill/Petrenko > Grimes.

Walker has almost maxed out his cashcow potential, so upgrading him sounds sensible, particularly if your forward line is lacking and is desperate for another premium to 'steady the ship' with your overall score.

Wait a week for Walker. -3 BE.

This week I have done:

Hill - Grimes

I have M. Brown and Gartlett on my bench in my forward line. Gartlett sits on my bench and doesn't play, i have no idea whether to leave him there or trade him?

I suppose the options are:

Gartlett (120,000) - Sidebottom (110,000)
Gartlett - 86,500 player

Or just leave him? Is it worth a trade?

Hey guys, I was just after peoples opinions about 2 trade possibilities i have.

I am thinking of trading out S Hill and R Houlihan (who I have as a fwd)

Should I pick up J Grimes and Deledio

or Goddard and Yarran.

Grimes would most likely be on the ground each week and either Yarran or Sidebottom (who I already have) will have to be on the field each week in the forwardline.

Any advice would be appreciated

Lids and Grimes. Look at it this way. Lids could average you 95 and grimes around 70-80 (possibly more). Compare to Goddard 100 and Yarran 50.

Bigger upside to Lids and Grimes in my opinion.

This is only my second year of Dream Team and I love it! Currently ranked around 4500 but im having real dilemmas for trade strategy from now on. Just wondering if someone could give me a few ideas. Really want to beat my mates in the league who have done it for years (currently 4th).

Team is

Goddard, Cornes, Fisher,
Mackie, Guerra, Hill, Grimes Hodge, Broughton

NDS, Swan, Gibbs, Selwood,
Schammer, Rich
Hartlett, Anthony

Chapman, S.Johnson, Lids, NGBrown
Higgins, Ziebell, Sidebottom M. Brown, Ben Warren

I only have 10 trades left but cant see where i am going to get the money from. Bold players are original selections. Any ideas?

this is what the selection committee face today.

Subs are as follows;

B: Petrenko/Broughton
M: Beams/Anthony
R: Spencer/Jacobs
F: Macaffer/Brown

Option 1 – Cash left $1k-50k
M Brown --> Sidebottom
Foley --> Gibbs/Hayes/Swan/Morton

Option 2 – Cash left $1-40k
Beams --> Sidebottom
Foley --> Swan/Judd/Murphy/Pendlebury/Sewell/Mitchell/Morton/Deledio/Montagna/Dal Santo/Priddis/Boyd

Option 3 – Cash left $27-17k
Krakour --> Sidebottom
Foley--> Ablett/Bartel/Anyone

team is
B: Cornes, Goddard, Lockyer, Mackie, Adcock, Grimes, Hill
M: Corey, Selwood, K Simpson, Foley, Rich, Coughlan
R: Cox, Mcintosh
F: Chapman, Riewoldt, Stevie J, Pavlich, Franklin, Higgins, Kraka

thoughts please

because relative to my opponents I have a weaker midfield & stronger forwardline.

I.e My 4th best mid Foley is equal to a Kornes/Selwood say in another team. Where as my 6th/7th forward Higgins/Krak are stronger than the average who have Ziebell/Krak/walker/sidebottom etc... so trading out krak to sidebottom doesnt affect me as much but i am losing more ground with foley imo. Most teams have Rich/Otten playing equal to mine so i'm happy to leave as is until later in the year.

I guess you could say its balancing the team out.

This round I have done: (12 Trades, Remaining)

Hill - Grimes

What is more important?

Petrenko - Broughton
OR
M. Brown - Sidebottom

OR
None?

Looking to upgrade next week i.e Rich or Raines (if he has another shocker)
Currently 81,900 in bank.
