fraser, jolly and petrie would be your best options.

if i was in your situation i think id be going either fraser or petrie. petrie hasnt missed a game in about 3 years IIRC, but fraser is averaging close to 100 if you take out the 30 odd in the game he got injured. so take your pick.
Forgot about him...He is sooooooo consistent...i would get him!

The trades I will do this week,

Out: Malceski, Lucas
In: Hodge, Didak

Suprisingly that would leave me with exactly $0 in the bank

I'm not sold on Hodge until I see him play another good game, doubt he will hit his breakeven of this week of 108. Could look at Ellis. Also Lucas only has a breakeven of 30 so he should go up.

Nicky Dal Grandblue? Very cheap for a bloke averaging over 100...

I'm not sure if he can handle the tag. This week he's probably gonna have Aaron Joseph on him who's pretty good, then he'll have probably Daniel Jackson on him then it'll be every child's nightmare in Cameron Ling.

Ziebell--->Walters
Rich--->Kornes

Already have about 65k in the bank and 8 trades left. Will upgrade Sidebottom to probably Didaka next week, finishing my team

Aaron Joseph isn't enough to worry Nicky Dal all that much despite the talk about him. He can really go in and get his own ball. Also i don't think the tag will go to him with Monty and Hayes cutting it up past 7-8 weeks. He might cop a runwith player like Armfield or something but probably not a tight tag. Jackson can get his own ball but can't tag for shit. Dal is a better option this year with the rise of others around him.

Can't go past Petrie in the ruck, a fantastic DT ruckman especially with the lack of ruck rookies, need your rucks to play 22.

Now for me this week

Should i do Ziebell to Riewoldt? Because that would need me to downgrade to a 75k rookie instead of Walters or Cornelius (have Ballantyne)

Trade out one of Drummond (only a week for his calf apparently) or Cornes. Don't like this options coz i'm not losing too many points really but Hodge looks tempting as next week.

OR

No trade and wait next week to trade for Stevie J, meaning Ziebell will drop about 10k.

Wait and trade Grimes/Cornes for Hodge

Opinions appreciated and please raise any other trade suggestions. Thanks

Well i cant hold onto Malceski any longer, and i am confident in Hodge
And i dont trust Lucas to go up by more than Didak

Wouldn't say Jackson can't tag for shit when he kept Pav to 6? touches in the 2nd half when the game was there to be won.

Swans4eva, I'd go Chornes to Bowden. Drummond is out for a week with his calf due to the split round according and Bowden will average 100 points with the Richmond KPB's coming in.

Huey, definitely Riewoldt. Won't let you down with my Saints killing it so far.

EDIT: Stevie J has a huge B/E this week as well, Roo will go up unless he has a shocker against Bret Thorton (trust me, it's not happening).

Midfield: Swan, Murphy, Corey, Gibbs, Hasleby, Muston (Robinson, Hartlett)
Forwards: Deledio, SJohnson, Pavlich, Roughead, Higgins, Walker, Sidebottom (Ziebell, Hentschel)

231k in bank
9 Trades

Option 1
This Rd:
Robinson > Bartel

Next Rd:
Walker > Ballantyne
Ziebell > Didak

Option 2
This Rd:
Hasleby > Bartel
Ziebell > Didak

Next Rd:
Walker > Ballantyne
Roughead > Riewoldt (only a maybe)

Option 3
This Rd:
Ziebell > Didak

Next Rd:
Walker > Ballantyne
Robinson > Bartel

My back line is complete so no need to worry about that. As you can see my forward line is my weakest link atm. For probbly the last 2 weeks I have had Option 1 locked in for this rd/next rd. But with Didak scoring so well and my forward line being less than impressive recently I feel the need to strengthen it.

Only problem is I wanted to get Bartel in while he is at his lowest, and with Freo coming up at Subi again he could really cut them up. With this in mind it has made me question the merits of Option 2. While this option lets me get both guys in this week it leaves me with another trade required for one of Muston/Robinson/Hartlett to complete my midfield, where as I would have left Hasleby in as my 6th mid.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers :)

Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated guys :thumbsu:

Which Mid should I get for under 420k? At the moment I am thinking Kornes but Salopek seems like a steal and Murphy has been very consistent?

Its got to be Option 1. Makes up the biggest gap in your points difference for that situation.

i dont know how to put the picture of the team like Signed Sealed Saint
so i will just give the link for my team
i have no clue what to do
6 trades 16k left over

opinions would be great!:)

I'd be looking to upgrade either one of Hartlett or Ziebell. Both if you get an extremely lucky run of no injuries though thats unlikely. Other than I'd sit tight because your ranking will drop atleast 5k if you run out of trades too early.

Personally i would pocket the extra $50k and go with kornes.... murphy is having a great season but kornes will also nearly g'tee a 100 each week for you and you can use the $50k towards upgrading someone else to gain your team some extra points.....

that would be my choice (option 1) i dont really see any merit in getting rid of hasleby yet hes picking up form and will score a solid 85 average imo until the rest of the season and instead could wait a couple of weeks for sidebottom to go up and use the money to improve him which would make your team very solid imo. ive got roughead too he is frustrating but id hold onto him the hawks look like they will fire in the 2nd half of the year meaning we could see some good scores from roughy!!

I agree... those two would be the ones you look at trading but for the time being just wait it out as your running low on trades and you could get yourself into trouble. that team should continue pulling good number until you can be sure of using the extra trade or two to upgrade those two guys.

Yeah I am definately leaning towards Kornes at this stage. Means my trades this week will be...
Otten to Bartel
Boak to Kornes.

Anyone know how much longer Chad Cornes will be out for in terms of games?

I'd be very wary about bringing in Bowden until we see what Rawlings is going to do regarding the tigers list. I'm expecting him to go with youth for most his time in charge this year.

Help would be appreciated, as its a 1 vs 2 game this week, and if i don't beat him, most likely he's going to go the season without defeat. i have a coupl of different options..

OPTION 1

Ziebell --> Forward under 341 eg. Jono Brown/ Aaron Davey

OPTION 2
Rich/Coughlan --> Mid under 366 eg, Stanton/Adam Simpson

OPTION 3
Don't use any trades and hope all his players go terrible

Thoughts??

Don't be sucked in. The only game that counts is the last one. Don't trade!
