No way man, 5 trades is ideal especially with how you team is sitting now..
What rank are you?

2800ish - was sitting right on 2000 before last week but copped 2 zero's and then a third when Stevie J was a late withdrawal.

Thanks Mookie - I will probably hang on to Hoops until finals time - if he I am still sitting alright can always do a double trade in Week 2 or 3 of the finals.

5 premiums + ST/Sewell (Cockie, Anthony)

Top one easily for mine - it will probably be too late to use Anthony as a cash cow and I think the top one gives you the most points.

I also feel an injury to one of your premium mids will cripple you to some extent anyway so is a 20-40 point difference in a mid back-up going to be that big of a difference???

That one is interesting. I think the answer depends on how many trades you are leaving on the side for LTIS.

The way I see it, if one of your premiums gets injured during the business end you straight swap him for another premium. So having Anthony on the bench might be good cover if someone good injured for a week, but nothing more than a safety net.

I would go with Bartel and hope that Cockie (who is playing really well) will keep his spot when needed.

Stupid thing is i could have had bartel last week and had anthony but bartel got his be and rich only pulled 50

Should one or more of your premiums get injured your stuck in a wrose position than with Anthony.

So theres no right or wrong answer.. Security vs Potentially Higher Scores. If you have 4 or more trades after the above id lock in Bartel under 4 probably anthony but thats also dependant on the durability of your other 5 premiums.

My trade plan is simiar to yours, bit also very different...

1: 5 premiums + ST/Sewell/Selwood (Cockie, Muston) leaving 2 trades
2: 5 premiums + Ablett/Montagna/Hayes (Cockie, Anthony) leaving 1 trade...

Basically my situation is that I have Rich and $155k to spend. Do I just upgrade him, or do I double trade to get Anthony as a solid backup?

With my position i need to go for risk over safety.. Playing it safe wont get me the car so i need to go after the big scores.. I like Geelongs draw and i think bartel could dominate over the next few weeks..
Im still in the eliminator and ranked 101 overall..
If cockie is named this week i think ill go with bartel

I'd look to do a moderate upgrade of Rich now, leaving yourself enough to get Pavlich in about 3 weeks
