1 trade left, $22k in the bank... no dramas... thank god I dodged Chapman and Franklin bullets... was very close to getting Chapman last week but thank god ended up picking ROK instead.

My side:

M: Swan, Bartel, Ablett, Goodes, Judd, Anthony (Muston, J. Van Berlo)

F: Riewoldt, O'Keefe, J. Brown, L. Davis, A. Davey, Didak (Ballantyne, Daniher)




The best trade idea I can conjure is a bit lame but Cheney for Firrito...

My mids, rucks, and forwards ain't getting any better and Firrito is about the best left in my budget for getting rid of Cheney.

Thoughts? Open to other suggestions of who to cull.

Exact same situation as me. I went with ROK instead of Chapman. Glad I did, otherwise I'd be on the sidelines this week.

1 trade left with 45k in the bank. Now to start searching for a good upgrade...

hard decision. wouldve said petrie but ports defense is doing well. i suppose st kilda's isnt that bad but then there is also the risk that port wont tag harvey because they dont really care. you gotta make that call


my dilemma is okeefe or davis? have to get one for buddy but im really struggling. is okeefe safer than davis? lwould love some opinions on that guys

Hey ... would appreciate some late advice heading into my GF

Here are some combinations I have come up with to cover Petterd and Buddy. What does everyone think would be the best option:

1. Enright and Petrie
2. Hodge and Harvey
3. Gram and Robert Murphy
4. Chad/ Birchall and Aker/ Brown/ Harvey/ Deledio
5. Fisher and Harvey/ Deledio/ Lynch/ Petrie

Alternatively, I cop a score of about 50 at best from Pearce or Greenwood as a back and sell Buddy for someone like Kosi. With a bit of cash in the bank that leaves me with $406200 - and I upgrade Rich. Options being Boyd, Corey, Hayes, Bartel, Vince or anyone cheaper

Or ... if I traded Buddy for someone $197000 or less - I could upgrade Rich to Swan

Thoughts?

SJ and Buddy need to go and with only 7k in the bank!

Im thinking of bringing in either an expensive player and a cheapy for example Didak and Medhurst. Or bringing in 2 mid priced players for example a Harvey and a Brennan.

I can't really decide.

I need to now choose out of:

Petrie vs Port (good recent form and consistent)
Monfries vs Hawks (huge ceiling, plays great v Hawks. 116 last time)
Byrnes vs Freo (with Johnson and Chappy out will get more ball, huge ceiling as well, 140 last time - but can he do that again? when he is bad, he is bad)

If it was for the season, i would take Petrie for his consistency, but considering it is for one game only, it is quite a tough choice.

Who on earth do you guys think will score more (THIS WEEK ONLY)

My head hurts.

Im thinking Monfries for sentimental value, and he will be fired up...

Yeah... I've picked up Robo Murphy and now am deciding between Byrnes, Petrie and Q. Lynch.
All 3 I think will score similarly so in the end it may not be such a huge deal but I am undecided.

You're 13 behind 7th and 19 in front of 9th. I doubt you can predict that differential between any of those choices so gut feel is best. Congrats on a great season Jim TOP EFFORT!!!

I'm leaning towards Petrie or Byrnes...

He loves a tackle or two, and if it rains he might just be the best option...
But Drew is just so consistent..! argh. not long left to decide

I went with Lynch and Robo Murphy as my two forwards but I'd go for Gram/Enright and Robo HFT.
