Melbourne to improve, Sydney to get back up to Finals as guys like White, Hannebery, Veszpremi, Smith, Jack, Bird, Meredith and Thornton get consistent footy into them, Geelong to miss Finals in a big slide a la Hawthorn of this year, West Coast to be pushing for Finals again, and Carlton to dissapoint fans by missing Finals.

Richmond and Port will have big list turn overs this year I suspect and will suffer because of it. Freo's players will begin getting on the park consistently and will win 6-7 games, but it'll be another year before they can truly be competitive.

Collingwood - Very good backline if Presti plays on and if Rocca or JA play consistent footy next year, they will be hard to beat.

Port Adelaide - I just look at their list and see so much talent, I think they severley under performed this year and will bounce back next year.

Brisbane - Improving list and will give the likes of Brown, Bradshaw, Black and Power will give want to give the flag one last crack before they allow the younger players to take their spots.

St Kilda - Still a great side but winning 09 flag will diminish their hunger a bit

Hawks - Will improve, but i think the best years to come will be post '10

Bulldogs - If they can get two big fowards in the side then they might climb into top 4, but I don't like their fowardline

Carlton - Still young and developing but enough talent to make finals

Essendon - See Carlton

Geelong - Once a great team on the slide

Adelaide - Still rely on Goodwin, Edwards, McLeod, Burton and not sure about the depth

Sydney - Pure grit and determination will see them win a few games while they get games into their youngesters

Fremantle - Really hope their youngsters come on, good young midfield but i hope they recruit some good KPP talent to compliment the likes of Suban, Hill, Palmer

North Melbourne - New coach will need time to stamp his authority on the club

West Coast - I think my hatred of the club sways my opinion, but in all honesty, they are very young and have hardly any decent players in the 24-28 age bracket so best years are still to come.

Melbourne - Unproven kids but most likely will be top 8 in 2012-13

Richmond - I reckon Hardwick will clear out alot of players, which is big step backwards because they have been rebuilding for 5 years and dont think they need to start again.

Kick up a stink if you want, but you all know I've got NFI.

Top 7 this year are miles in front of the rest but one of them is bound to get ravaged by injuries ala Hawks this year so reckon 6 of this 7 are certainties

St Kilda, Geelong, Collingwood, Western Bulldogs, Adelaide, Brisbane, Carlton

remaining 2 spots to come from

Essendon, Hawthorn, WCE, Freo

Going to back both Power and Kangaroos for spoon

Bird = Quality player who will be better for this year.
Hannebury = Looks at ease with the game at the elite level. Future star.
White = Will be a very important KPP in the front half.
Vezpremi = Lost to 2009 through injury
Thornton = Very controlled. Great decision maker.
Orreal = Yet to debut but looking the goods.

You're the idiot who thinks White is shit, just because he did well in the Reserves? And you think Orreal will do well?:thumbsdown:

I see it playing out similiar to this year some-what - Collingwood and Saints as tear-away leaders, 3-6 to all be bundled closely together, same with 7-9, with the rest falling behind. Also tipping Geelong and Bulldogs to begin to fall, West Coast to rise, Hawthorn to bounce back, and Hardwick to toughen up Richmond's list and get far better results than expected.

Adelaide - Still rely on Goodwin, Edwards, McLeod, Burton and not sure about the depth.

I actually feel sorry for McLeod, Edwards, Goodwin and Burton. They have a couple of bad games and people say they should retire. Then they start playing well and people say we rely on them too much. Make up your mind!!

Btw, we hardly rely on them. Have you seen a crows game aside from round 11 this year?

Have to say it is a little similar to this year's, but I can't think of much else to do. Adelaide will have their old leaders finishing their careers in 2010 just as the younger group hit form - the perfect year for them to seize the premiership.

I could hazard a guess at the top 4 and bottom 4 in no particular order. As for the rest I have no idea.

Top 4:
Collingwood
St Kilda
Geelong
Adelaide

Bottom 4: (the usuals)
Richmond
Fremantle
Melbourne
North Melbourne

Can you logically justify either of those?

When does logic come into ladder predicitons?

Ta da.

Settle down, I'm not going to sit here and mount a case for your mob coming last. In fact when I composed the ladder I made choices that I found intuitively wrong just because they felt intuitively wrong. It happens.
