Does anyone have Pods BE because crazy as it seems I think I'll use him to upgrade to Riewoldt.

I'm doing the same thing after this week, because Pods is likely to pull out a large score at skilled. Both are set to drop a similar amount of $.

I will be trading roberton or webberly out for ashley smith (2 games,av about 75),freeing up enough cash to do fyfe to roo next week or the week after, depending how he goes this week!
will be mylast upgrade,leaving tippet and pods the twoworst players in my teamand 4 trades for finals!

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyone worth downgrading to or is it pretty much the time of the year to just get the cash and have one solid backup on each line.

Waters is my first priority to boot and the only problem with hille/Wade "149" skipper is who to replace them with. I wish I trusted Copx to play out the year.

Alright guys I think I'm going to go for broke here!

I have 4 trades left and just $4000 in the kitty.

I'm thinking of downgrading Trengove(Melb) to some 94k kid. Maybe Harwood from Brisbane who I've heard should get a game soon.

Then go Fyfe to Goodes. I know I should have done this last week and saved $50k and believe me I was very close!
($185,600 & 2 trades left)

After that just watch and wait for a couple of weeks. With any luck Roo will drop another 40-50k the next few weeks then come good, then make a choice out of Rockliff or PODS for Roo.
If Roo doesn't come good and the other 2 keep going on their merry way, then maybe go Hunt to Malceski.

Does this all sound good?
I still have a bit of cover if I'm hit by injuries. I have Davis and Waite as MPP to help plug gaps later on and Bastinac ready to do a decent job in the mids if needed and also Warnock may start getting games soon too. I'll also still have 1 trade up my sleeve if absolutely necessary.

like your thoughts on downgrading trengrove, may i suggest Mcneil might not play but gives you the MPP and a fair bit of cash being $83k
As for Fyfe wouldnt trade him with Playfair on the bench. Playfairs retired so wont play if you can upgrade him somehow it Goodes that would be your best option, but with your MPP options may not need to trade for bench cover

After that trade in Roo for who ever you can as his run home is excellent and then you got a cover trade for the last few weeks

hi guys - im still not understanding how to use MPP.

if i can run a scenario by you, please confirm HOW i would actually do it.

theres a rumour gibbs wont play this week.

i have no MID bench cover at present and dont want to use a trade if MPP will provide relief.

in DEF i have both goddard & hodge who are also MID.

if i place one of them on the bench, as MPP's can i then sub one of them into the MID ? is that how it works ? or does the MID i sub out (gibbs) also have to be a DEF ?

i have DEF cover to bring onto the field for hodge or goddard.

i play a low lying team in my league so i dont need a huge score, 2100 is well short of my average and will be enough to win. without gibbs i could lose, it is doubtful but possible.

anyone ?

You'd need a MID/DEF eligible player in your midfield to be able to do this swap

I had a nice pair of Rollerblades. I was afraid to wreck them...so I kept them in a box. Do you know what happened? I outgrew them. I never wore them outside. Only in my room a few times.
Trades, They’re kind of the same thing. If you won’t use your trades, who cares if it gets broken? If you just keep it to yourself, maybe it’ll be like my Rollerblades. When you do decide to trade, it won’t be any good. You should take a chance. Got nothing to lose.

You have to do it sooner or later. Given you have Stanton at M6 already perhaps you could look at a MPP option for Barlow? Davis/Higgins,Chappy, Goodes, Pav, etc.

hey mate, very envious of you having 7 trades up your sleeve, well done..

I'd downgrade one of Hurley or Schoenmakers to Ashley Smith this week, who's on the bubble and looks quite a handy player, racking up 20 odd touches I think in both games.. This should free you up some cash, then look at upgrading one of your defenders, maybe Hunt or Maguire to either Enright, Malceski, Gilbert or Duffield..

Basically average the same (88 & 86) and alost identical price. Both play for bottom of the ladder teams so hard to seperate.

What do you think of the ruck departments.

hilles BE is massive and think his value could be more well spent elsewhere, especially with skipper in great form and warnock back this week, and hopefully will play out the year which is some ok cover if one goes down. Any ideas of possible downgrade targets for hille?

will probably go this week:
hurley > smith
hille > cheap playing games

and then next week:
hunt > enright
dangerfield > roo

Which will leave me with 3 trades and $150k going into the finals which will hopefully be enough to make some nice upgrades at the end?

Hey guys, need some help for this weeks games, a win this week would sew up a top 4 place in all 3 of my leagues.. only got 2k in the bank

My Team for this week looks like this atm

Backs: Hodge, Goddard, Malceski, Gilbee, Waters, Hurn, Webberly (Maguire, Silvagni)

Mids: Swan (C), Ablett (VC), Bartel, Cooney, Sewell, Armstrong (Gysberts, Shuey)

Rucks: Sandilands, Warnock (Hille, Trengove)

Forwards: Chapman, Pavlich, Okeefe, Podsiadly, Hall, Franklin, J.Brown (fyfe, Gumby)

Ok, so I have 4 trades left this season

here is my dillema.. I need to get rid of tony armstrong and and grab another decent mid..

My options look like downgrading Maguire to Smith, then trade armstrong for a mid under 537,400..

Options i am considering include Marc Murphy, Deledio, Mitchell, Swallow and Lenny Hayes.. I am leaning towards Mitchell but am unsure..

Another option includes playing fyfe on the ground and trading Hall for a rookie and giving myself free rain to get montagna, sellwood or nicky dal..
This is obv the most risky option as i will only have gumby as cover and im not sure if fyfe can get his ave up with the season coming towards an end..


Wat i would like the bigfooty public to do is give me some advice into my wheelings and dealings for this weeks games.. should i be conservative or should i take the risky option and grab montagna?????/

mpp only helps if the mpp gets injured for example:

a person has goddard in his midfield and he has no midfield cover. One day goddard does a hammy and luckily for mister anonymous he has hodge in his backline so he swaps goddard to the backline and brings hodge into the mid. Now he puts godard onto the back bench for matt maguire.

mpp is shit cause unless ur mpp is the person getting injured its absolutely pointless

Is it a good move to get rid of Maguire for Lake?

I have 4trades left, going for overall ranking.

I already have Hodge, Goddard, Malceski, Gilbee, Enright, Goodwin Maguire (Sheppard, Webberley)

I reckon Sheppard has peaked enough & is set to drop. So my plan is too downgrade Sheppard to Smith and upgrade Maguire to Lake. good move?

OR should i just use the 1 trade to get Gilbert or Scotland.
