Hmmm, $2.05 for +2.5 goals in the Mexico/Argentina game...

Think there will be a fair few goals tonight. Argentina are poor at the back, Samuel out and Mexico will give themselves a heap of chances. Argentina have quality up front and Mexico has been known for a lapse every now and then.

3 - 2 Mexico $67
3 - 2 Argentina $34

Backing Argentina to qualify - $100 @ 1.22.

Argentina are a class act (despite their manager).

I wouldn't touch the England v Germany game.. normally. But there's some sentiment here and tonight I'm going to be a mug punter:

Germany to qualify - $22 @ 2.10.

There's a bet I'd dearly love to lose. I'll happily pay $22 to see England qualify. Besides, Argentina is going to get my $22 back for me against Mexico. :D
Tonight's profits are no consolation. :(

Anyone losing a bit of interest in betting at this WC with all the shocking decisions being made??

11 red cards so far, probably 9-10 wrong or dubious.

Missed goals, offsides not called, goals being disallowed for no apparent reason....

not to mention those stupid bloody vuvuswaler things.....

Yeh it's getting annoying, but no way will it stop me watching it haha.

I got on Braziland the Netherlands to win tonight, after making a bit last night thanks to Germany and Argentina.

I don't think it's been any different to other soccer tournaments really, just part of a sporting event. Adds to the excitement of the betting doesn't it?
I think there's been some good value out there, in overs/unders early and in backing teams for results in normal time for the elimination rounds so far. Will continue to follow it and bet on it as it adds another level of excitement, and i'm doing fairly nicely so far so why stop?

I should have mentioned i am actually in front on WC betting, but i just hate the fact that so many critical decisions are being made wrongly as it throws in even more variables.

FWIW, i have found the best approach taking the correct result bets in games i expect to not have too many goals.

Jumped on Brazil and the Netherlands too in a multi with Argentina :thumbsu:. What do you lads think about Spain getting up over Portugal?? Was too risky for me to put in a multi and I don't think the odds really have much value.

Yeh I'm on all 3 as well. Netherlands/Brazil last legs of my multi, should get up.

I like Spain, Portugal are no pushover though, Spain will either win 1-0, or it'll be a draw and go to overtime/penalties IMO.

I just put a bit on ...

Netherlands vs Slovakia to have 3 or more goals in it into Brazil to beat Chile 2-0.

It's paying about 12/1 :thumbsu:

I also put money on Brazil to win 2-1 and 3-0, both paying about 10/1, and the Dutch to win 3-1, which was paying 15/1.

If 2 or more of those win, i'll be extremely happy!

Good luck for tonight everyone, I shall return for the start of tonight's first game

PS : No extra time/penalties tonight please!

he's argentina's 5th choice striker behind messi, higuain, tevez and aguero. will be lucky, rightly or wrongly, to see any game time whatsoever.

Yeh robba has no idea. Altho maradona wouldn't be much better

milito is clearly ahead of aguero and tevez.

i won't hold my breath waiting for an apology.

you have shown yourself to be utterly clueless all throughout the thread.
