Geez people who are saying that he should go back to brisbane are giving me the shits. Have you thought that Brisbane may not have offered him a contract?
How is coming back to your home country to play regular first team football a 'silly move'? Especially now that we have a National team manager in Holger who is willing to pick players from the A-League if they perform well enough.
The league is stronger than its ever been and continues to grow, if he impresses he'll be back to Europe in no time and hopefully for Adelaide they'll get a transfer fee out of it.

Excellent signing for the inbreds, Vidosic is one that I thought wouldn't come back to the A League. Better player then Flores IMO.
I am a firm believer that no Australian footballer should be playing overseas unless they are playing in a J League/K League/England/France/Germany/Belgium/Greece/Turkish/Spanish/Dutch/Russian/SPL/ English Championship they all should be playing in the A League.

Players should be able to play wherever they bloody well like.
Perhaps I worded that incorrectly. No Australian Footballer should want to play in overseas unless they are in the leagues I mentioned in my previous post. That would improve the A League immensely.

You certainly did- was gonna give you props but figured it was on the downlow!
If we were to get Kewell and a good defender then it won't be the end of the world seeing as Rojas, Solorzano and Cernak have joined too. Would still be a little disappointing due to the memories- but he can't be a fat tub of lard and dominate anymore.

Thwaite In, Franjjic out,. Solarzano in, Allsopp out and Cernak in for Marvin. Now we are talking about a seriously good team.

You my friend are an A grade spanner, if Roar wanted him then they should have tried to sign him. Unless you have proof that they made an attempt, pipe down on the whole 'He should have gone to brisbane' bullshit.
