Australia defender Jon McKain has reportedly signed a three-year deal with A-League club Adelaide United.
McKain, who can also adapt to the holding midfielder's role, was released by Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr Riad last weekend.
McKain was initially signed by Al Nasr Riad's coach - former Italy international Walter Zenga - last year, before being axed at Christmas.
If confirmed, McKain will join a growing group of players who once played for Queensland-based clubs.
Already among the Reds squad are ex-Gold Coast United pair, striker Bruce Djite and midfielder Zenon Caravella, former Brisbane Roar players Dario Vidosic, Spase Dilevski and Sergio van Dijk and former North Queensland Fury player Osama Malik.
McKain is tipped to arrive in Adelaide on Wednesday.
