Yep. Ryan would be a good pick up for an A-League club.
Can't see that happening. Broke into the Hearts first team at the back end of last season and started to play well after impressing on loan @ Partick Thistle. With the possibility of our captain, a Centre Back, leaving and some holes in midfield I cant see him going anywhere

Mariners have accepted an improved offer from Dortmund for Mustapha Amini, thought to be around AU$340k.

Massive blow for the Seamen after losing Perez as well.

any word on Kezman to Heart?
Not happening.

The Melbourne Heart Rumor Mill:

- There is a rumor going round that David Williams was seen at Latrobe Uni (at the MHFC offices) today (16th of June) with his manager, to apparently sign with Melbourne Heart. "The signing will be announced in a month"

This may heve some truth about it, in an interview with TWG before the ACL he stated that both Victory and Sydney wanted him and he opted for Sydney, but said some thing along the lines of 'Melbourne is a beautiful city, I'd like to live there on day.

- JVS told Dutch Media that he had 3 brazilians in his ranks and there have been Rumors around linking Fred and a Maicon to Heart. The Above sauce also confirmed these signings. I very important club official also confirmed the signing of Fred to me.

- As relieved earlier by the media, he also said he was searching for an established CB from the Eredivisie. Levchenko was uncoverd as one, the other two are believed to be a Croat and a Dutchman.

- Finally on a less radical note The Heart are after a Youth Keeper be Bolton's under study. The have been scouring all corners of Victoria to find him and are believed to bae down to 'three or four'.

If true, this gives a very strong squad of:
K: Clint Bolton, Youth Keeper
D: Simon Colosimo, Michael Marrone, Euro Based Signing, Aziz Behich, Brendan Hamill, Curtis Good
M: Matt Thompson, Fred, Wayne Srhoj, Rutger Worm, Kristian Sarkies, Adrian Zahra, Nick Kalmar, Kliment Taseski, Kamal Ibrahim
F: David Williams, Alex Terra, Mate Dugandzic, Maicon Pereira de Oliveira, Jason Hoffman, Eli Babalj

Defence looking a little weak, what happened with Beauchamp? Otherwise not a bad squad, don't see why you guys can't make a play for either Bresciano or Grella - they would certainly pull a few extra through the gates.
You will find it especially difficult to attract fans if we end up signing Harry.

Beauchamp left for more playing time as JVS prefered a system with only one big CB (Colosimo). But, Sydney have now brought in Coyne so he will have to fight for his place. Matty Thompson as a very versatile player and can always play at CB, LB or DM when needed. Zahra can also play very well at RB. Both Brendan Hamill and Curtis Good are a good sort, I can see them both wearing the Green and Gold one day.

Grella (and Emerton) doesn't want to play in the A-League, as he want's to 'finish at the top'.

Bresciano will be a very likely Marquee for us next season when his Lazio contract runs out, he is still playing very good football.

Heart yesterday confirmed it had been negotiating with Fred's agent but said no deal had yet been done.
But there is speculation former North Queensland Fury and Sydney FC striker David Williams is moving to the club. Williams is a free agent after the Fury's demise. Heart chased Williams for its inaugural season, but is optimistic it will get him for its second.

SYDNEY FC have snapped up a key player to help bolster their troublesome backline with the signing of Dutch defender Pascal Bosschaart, the club confirmed this afternoon.

The left-sided central defender/fullback/defensive midfielder has spent his entire career playing at the top level in Dutch football with roles at Eredivisie clubs Utrecht, Feyenoord and APO den Haag.

Sounds like a good signing. He is 31 years old so not over the hill just yet.

Also SBS reporting that Amini has agreed a four year deal with Dortmund who now are trying to finalise the transfer fee with the Mariners.

He may be loaned straight back to the Mariners for a season which would be a massive boost for them.

I'm surprised at the number of Heart fans on here. KUTGW!

Williams to be announced at La Trobe tomorrow.

Small squad, height wise.

I don't think they could play Williams, Terra and Dugandzic as a front three :p

Would have liked a better/more experienced target man than Hoffman/Babalj if he's going to play 4-3-3.
