They are tough numbers to ignore but there just seems to be better (safer) options other than Roo. I'm kinda doubting myself with Pav for some reason after thinking about how Buddy went that week against GC..from memory the small forward type players feast not the big forwards.

either will be pav when l trade him later. or swan V hawks with no real tagger playing maybe bateman will play on him not sure.gold coast have no tagger yet.so prob go pav.

Great preview as always IDIG, but you may have missed Ryan O'Keefe.
Last 3 against Adelaide have produced 124, 134 and 167! He also has an average of 134 at AAMI Stadium in his last 3 games there. Adelaide are terrible, ROK is in some form... weather permitting he may be a good unique choice.

Fair call and funnily enough he's always on there but no one ever votes for him and i added Swallow and Sammy Fish this week so someone had to make room

Yea I've come to my senses now. He's out of consideration. I'm just sick of playing it safe and gettin shit scores from my captain. If im gonna get shit scores I may aswell take a gamble.
Captaincy choices have costed me aloooooot of points this year.
Probably pick Swan even tho he bent me over with his 2 80s, but might look at Chappy

Taking the (C) off GAJ is pretty scary, especially considering his form at Subi, but i'm really considering either big Pav in his 250th or Fyfe, surely they'll both tear GC apart.

My first captain choice was going to be Pav this week playing his 250th but as I analysed the teams for Freo Vs GC Im thinking of a roughie...
Broughton.
He had a ripper last week and just starting to find his own ball again. His kicks are more accurate then Pav as he tries to thread the needle more than throwing it on the boot from the centre square. It looks like Ablett will win many clearances but that will cancel out with Freo fielding a strong back 6 for the first time this season.(SNOS, Grover, Duff, Ibbotson, McPharlin and Broughts).
I can just see Broughton running the ball out ALOT and having some time on the ball as well with Barlow and Mundy missing from the midfield. Pav will be hopefully spending more time and CHF kicking goals.
Thought on the gamble? Will Broughton score more than Pav/Fyfe?

Pretty sure all 3 Pav, Fyfe and Broughton will ton up with ease.
Only reason why me personally im leaning towards Pav is because I can really picture him tearing it to shreds in MID + FWD and could def kick 4+ goals. Obviously you would know heaps more about Freo im just going with instinct and gut feel...
