He's definitely not nomd for the Cup but I believe he may be set for something like a Mackinnon

Your basing that on him being beaten almost three lengths in a 0-68? Dont know how you could really come to that conclusion

well if you havn't noticed first 2 jumps have been quite poor and been off the pace come the 800 give a bigger distance and a fair jump and this thing could be the next big thing, comes from spicer thoughbread and they are talking this thing bigger then starspanglebanner so be your own judge, maybe they are running it like this to get odd's for the main races, why else would they be nominating it in the big races if they didn't think it had something to warrant? they wouldn't waste there time or money. zabeelionaire has come home very strongly both starts. but as I said, be your own judge. another to watch is atlantic jewel was one of the lightest runs i've witnessed in years
The horse never recovered from his injuries fully.
Him winning on comeback says a lot about his trainer, he is looking increasingly like the next Darren Weir, Lee Freedman.
It had nothing to do with his previous injuries, he injured a tendon in what was his good leg this time. Just an injury prone horse i think. Nigel Blackison has been around for a fair while hasn't he?
Jumping with them and more distance doesnt turn getting beaten three lengths in a 0-68 into the next big thing. You think they are pulling the horse or something in a 68 so they can get better odds to back it in a major race? That is just ******ed. Also plenty of people nominate crap horses for group races. If you think its going to be a top horse thats fine but from the information available i couldnt possibly draw that conclusion

As I said have your own opinion, just letting you know a good way to make some money is zabeelionaire you wait my friend, I don't think a 0-68 means anything buddy lots of horses have been there lost there fair share and cleaned up in group 1's. Makybe Diva is one, Starspanglebanner is another just of the top of my head.
Just off the top of your head eh? So when was Starspangledbanner ever in a 0-68? Please enlighten me. Was it before he debuted in an open 2yo race worth 250k? or did they drop him back after winning his group one?
