Re: Round 10 trades

Burgoyne>Jacobs (Moved Goodes in fwd line, added MPP)
Matera>Sylvia (Darling to bench, next week Darling to Mzungu, upgrade defender with cash)

Thoughts on these trade ideas?

Sidenote: Sylvia has a bye when Freo has a bye, making me think about Harvey and Chapman (although uniqueness is at question).

Re: Round 10 trades

otten -> jacobs
curnow -> joey

with enright out, i was a backmen down... expect 75 points from jacobs and 100 average from joey not missing a game...

Re: Round 10 trades

Finally decided on

Swallow >> Jacobs
Tapscott >> Fyfe

Was keen on Ablett but couldn't quite find enough cash to get him so that will have to wait another week.

Re: Round 10 trades

Higgins > Mzungu
Stanley > Adcock

Now for Higgins to gun it for the rest of the year.
Yep
Tapscott > Lynch
Higgins > Chapman
Watch Higgins pull out some big scores for the rest of the year!
Owell, Happy to have Chappy in the side!
Will get Mzungu next week and upgrade Stanley, then my backline is pretty much complete!

Round 11 Trades

Early thoughts about Round 11 Trades:

Tapscott - Mzungu
Harris - Boyd

Seems as though Goddard will be right, so i'll hold him for x amount of weeks.

Re: Round 11 Trades

I should have done it last night ;)

Anyway, i'm just burning my trades like they are going out of fashion. I'll just keep doing doubles until i run before rd 16

Re: Round 11 Trades

I want to get Judd, but then I'll have Murphy, Gibbs and Judd. Too much?

I said it at end of last season "Murphy is a lock next year!" For this year (2011) until the draw came out for this season and Murphy had the dirty bye in league finals, which killed plans. I repeat! "Murphy is a lock next year!"

Depends if you're confident enuff that u won't have to win a final in prelim week, having the same thoughts about Murphy.... one upgrade in mids reqd .....

I dont think so but depends on if you're worried about finals with Carlton's late bye. Alot of teams are running a Pendles/Swan midfield so it's pretty much in the same boat. Looks like both Judd and Murphy will be top 10 mids and if one misses the other fires, although they both generally fire lol.

Just looking at Chappy, he drops a further 30k to $438900 with a new break even of 115 v the doggies at Skilled. Time to pounce me thinks :thumbsu:

Said exactly the same thing but from memory there was an injury cloud over him right up to round 1 im pretty sure so i didn't want to take that risk.

Re: Round 11 Trades

Looks like Iles will need to be sacrificed to get Mzungu in my midfield and open up MPP again.

Out: Iles, Darling
In: Mzungu, Chappy

Re: Round 11 Trades

Are league finals an issue for you?

Not really, just want overall scores.

I want my midfield to be Selwood, Murphy, Pendles, Cross (I have all of them) then two of Judd, Ablett, Swan and Hodge. Just nit sure which two.

Tough one really, 3 of them have niggles and the other hasn't shown that he worth the risk barring that monster. Hodge in my mind offers a great point of difference if that's what you're after, still plays GC twice, Melbourne, PA, BL and North. To gain overall you'll need one of Swan or Judd not to fire in the back end of the season to gain some points as i'd imagine they'd be in most of the top teams. Seeing you don't have any Hawks in your midfield, he'd be 1 as long as he looks like his over or coping with that injury.

Re: Round 11 Trades

Was going to go Foley to Pav but he somewhat has made me reconsider. SHit I still may do it.

You're a hard man, man :p

Since round 5, Foley's scores - 108, 143, 73, 95, 94 and 145 @ 110

Pav over that same period - 101, 122, 109, 119, 96 @ 109

Although Pav did miss a game in that period and managed a lazy 158 the week before :D

I'm thinking this is because Foley has a bye this week that you're considering it? It's that tough choice between distinguishing between a matured cow and a midprice keeper.

I've got those three, and I would not have traded in Murphy if i had my time again (Selwood to Murph after concussion :()

I will probs upgrade Judd with my last trade
