I would go Broughton. There's been alot of feedback out of the Dockers camp which suggests he'll be playing in the midfield more this year and his scores so far in the nab are very encouraging.

Stephenson vs Redden for R4
Steph has job security, but redden has higher scoring potential and can make more $$. Any port fans able to provide info on the ruck hierarchy if everyone is fit?

Honestly, Redden/Lobbe/Renouf are all very hard to separate. Redden could play about 20 games or about 4 games and neither would surprise me. I think it'll be a week-by-week thing. He should play most games early though, since Lobbe has had no pre-season and is still a few weeks away from returning even at SANFL level, so if he is going to overtake Redden it'll probably take him some time.

I would go Thompson, due to his soft draw especially early in the season, Gibbs should see more mf time but who knows for sure and Stanton is a ball magnet, but his form really affects his output.

Currently have the first combo but reckon Palmer could go really big this year.

I'd go for the first option amazingjoshy, Coniglio will average more than porps and will most likely play the full season. Dangerfield will probably average the same or just slightly less than Palmer. Also with option one you'll earn more cash.

How about Broughton + Hargrave instead? That's the way I went. Save a bit of cash too.

that was actually my first thought
either broughton or birchall instead
Most people seemed to have goddard as a lock though which made me second guess myself
But last year most people had him as a lock at the start of the season as well

Cheers mate, makes sense looking at it like that, just really tempted by Palmer.
As for the rucks, personally Im backing Giles as my 2nd ruck. Has shown enough for me.

Selwood would appear to be the underpriced of the 3 but i like the other 2. Boyd would appaer to be the one least likely to improve but even then anyone watching him would think the contrary.

I dont think you can go wrong with any of those three, My only problem is that Selwood and Pendles have the bye in the same week, So depending on your team structure you may want to include boyd.
What do you guys think of Stanton v Watson?

Not sure narrowed down to caddy vs parker both had good pre seasons.
Not Masten he probably gave a good indication on the weekend how he is like to score with the eagles playing their best midfield side out of the whole pre season.
