Re: Player X v Player Y

not sure about parker, but would be wary about masten. When the pressure was on in the nab final, didnt produce the good scores he had earlier in the pre season.

chapman vs cloke

Re: Player X v Player Y

Masten v Luke Parker?

No Caddy in that equation?

I've notice Parker a lot more however am worried about PS (as opposed to JS) given he's named on a HFF and Mc Glynn is to come back. Natural midfielder but what are your thougthts on him being handed the red vest at some stage.

Same goes for Masten. Caddy may get it if they nurse him through....MacCarthy has been handed it several times already but his output is massive. I can't decide out of these four and am fretting because Parker runs out tonight against GWS so may rue it if I don't get him and he goes big....

Uhhh....he played 55% game time with 15 possessions for 44 DT points? Id say that's pretty good production in just over a half of footy.

Re: Player X v Player Y

Birchall v Suckling - Birchall, very consistent and a lot of ball will go through him
Smedts v Morris - Morris, more likely to play
Boyd v Rockliff v Thompson - Boyd, will be top 2-3 by years end
Kennedy v Couch - Kennedy, named and likely to play more games

Would love some help :thumbsu::D

Personally I think Masten has graduated from being a sub. I believe West Coast will throw the vest around between our half forwards like Hams and Weedon and possibly less seasoned mids like Stevens and Swift.

Don't know nearly enough about the others to comment

Re: Player X v Player Y

Broughton V Heppell is a tough one IMO.

Will Broughton continue his midfield/wing role during the season even with the returns of Barlow + Mundy? Or will he find himself in the back pocket again giving us yo-yo scores.

Can Heppell improve much from his first year? I mean we have seen him move a little more up the ground this pre-season but could his impressive year last year lead to more attention on him now?

It really is a tough choice.

Broughton gets it due to his uniqueness
