This has become another episode of "let's convince Taylor Adams to walk to the PSD for us!" FFS people we are NOT GOING TO TAKE JONES AT #9. It just won't happen. I'll be stoked when Thursday rolls around and we can finally stop speculating about it.

If both Zak Jones and Taylor Adams slipped to #9, who do you think we would pick?

When are people going to get it! Adams was traded for Heath Shaw in last months Free Agency/ Trade Period. As far Z Jones are concerned we now need to go further than just sentiment to pick players. I'd say lets choose from either Botempelli/Sharenberg/Koloshniajni/Aish or Acres/Freeman/Salem/Sheed at 9 and see what happens at 40 and 57.

If we are really a slow side it's probably better we picked Toumpas than Wines. When he's not injured Toumpas is much quicker. The hip injury is slowing him down drastically at the moment.

Yep. Now he gets a full run at the preseason hopefully uninterrupted by injury and is able to really build his fitness base going into next year.

Yeah I had a heated argument with my old man about Toumpas, he wouldn't shut up how we should of gone with wines, I was drumming the give it time point. I didn't realise at the time about his hip.

Hope we look at a KPD with our later picks. Would be nice to get a McDonald type who can develop in the VFL for a year or two. Puts pressure on Chip/McD/Garland to keep their spots, and gives us a backup for injuries/Frawley leaving/etc.

Funny, couple of years back i was sitting behind a true Melbourne supporter who kept calling Wona, Davey the whole all game. Educating his mate who must have known even less than this moron on how fast Davey was and how skillful he is. Even worse, Davey wasnt even playing in that game. I think your mob will take Lennon at 6 (and you'll be saying "Dale who?"). IMO we are looking at either Freeman or Salem. Then you'll take the the other at 10. Having said that, I have no inside knowledge and just speculating here.
