Not that I expect anyone to have a Gold Membership barcode they won't use but I would be interested if you did and happy to pay face value... or any other ticket...

Of course if I am able to get two tickets then my Gold Barcode would be open to be used by another Hawk member if you make contact with me and a Silver Barcode in the ballot as well.

Great point blue harvest about tier 3 getting a ticket and possible changes of numbers of Gold ticket holders in 2013 therefore making it fewer for tier 2 and 3.

slb and Furn2, if you are using the tier 1 number of members as 7000 from my earlier post it was just a random number I plucked and it is an example only.

How many non members and general public get tickets? What price do they pay?

Members and non members pay the same price. Members get access four hours before the general public though.

I remember hearing some standard (priority 3) members last year got standing room. It would be great if a priority 3 member could confirm they got one or if a Silver (priority 2) member could confirm they missed out.

My wife got a standing room ticket with priority 3 last year. I managed to swap it with one of the nice hawthorn posters on here with a seat for her (for the difference in price of course). She is silver this year so hoping to get a seat, but no doubt there will be people with seats looking to stand like last year.

Great, that's confirmation that last year every Silver member who wanted a ticket got one, although not necessarily a seat. This should help the OP.

How's everyone going with their seat selections for Friday? I'm Ponford Lv1 M33, went for cheap seats, happy enough, just wish I could choose my seat.

Just some advice.
It says you can buy 3 extras per membership, however it looks like you have to do it in the original transaction. I bought my own ticket plus one extra, all okay. Then I went back in to see if I could get another extra and it wouldn't accept my barcode, said entitlement for my barcode was exhausted, even though it isn't.

blue harvest, I just spoke to ticketek and if you phone I was told that they can add a seat to your order but as there is probably seats taken next to you already then you may have to move bays or a bit higher up.

I had a friend phone asking if we could sit together after my internet booking...

Thanks, turns out I don't need any more extras so all is okay.
Not sure why they wouldn't allow it online, I have done it before with an AFL membership and it worked okay - just let me buy tickets over several transactions until my allocation was used.

There is a whole heap of info up on the Hawthorn website now about registering for GF tickets. Basically if we win this week the registration date is 11th September and if we lose the Qualifying Final but win the Semi Final it's 18th September.

With regards to this weekend, I posted this on the Main Board...

Just bought a few tickets to the Hawthorn/Sydney and Collingwood/Port games and the PAX for both were:

Haw/Syd: 48600
Coll/PA: 42400

Didn't even bother for the Rich/Carl...

Using ticket sales from past years as an indication, we could be looking at 65,000+ to Haw/Syd and Coll/PA and 90,000 to Rich/Carl.

The Hawthorn/Sydney final has actually sold more tickets than the Hawthorn/Adelaide Preliminary Final last year

All silver must have got tickets the last 2 times because I know priority 3 members that got standing room. If the OP puts both memberships in priority 2 he will get two tickets but will risk getting standing room.

they may have ticked no standing room too and if you do that you can miss out totally even if a gold member so i heard once friends were lucky in 08 they got seats when ticking that last yr we did not and prayed we did not get standing , we got Q deck 6 rows back was cool and interesting watching from there

go to an actual agent or phone them i am not fussed doing it on line where as by phone or in person you can just about pick where you sit except for the gf sadly they dont like you doing that
