"Non-invasive" surgery I like that termonology.

Also like Rohan to be "unleashed".

Also think everyone here is pretty hard on Matt.

Does anyone have the feeling we might be holding back a bit with the injury list because we are travelling so well? I mean kids are getting blooded, players that needed it are getting full time to recover yet we are getting the job done sitting in the top 4 with an eye on the bigger prize?
We are no mugs at playing finals and our club knows what it takes to get to the big one. Big chance Essendon will lose their points as well.
Would Goodes have had this scrape if it happened in the first final? Would others have come back earlier if we were battling for the 8? My gut feeling is that the club knows what they are doing managing these injuries.. I hope my guts right.

It seems so with Jetta in any case. Shaw listed as a week could be holding? Will he need a run in the twos? Are we to assume LRT gorne for the year?

Possibly Swans are just being very cautious. Next 2 games should be a doddle. Get Sammy & Mummy tuned up before we hit WCE & Richmond, hopefully with Jetta back then another easy game before the Pies. Plenty of rest for some critical players. Then I wouldn't be surprised if some other first 22 players are rested while we keep playing youngsters up until the business end of the season. It's do-able if the player's fitness base is maintained but Goodes will struggle to get back to form before the finals. Still, he'd be a nice in. If we don't get our injuries sorted and continue to scrape along with juniors Gary Rohan could be in with a sniff of getting some seniors time, especially if he towels up the ressies. Now that's something I'd love to see.

It'd be great to have Jetta ripping up Patterson's on July 21. He loves those wide open spaces.

Should he not be ready, then I'd back Brandon Jack to tear it up. Brandon can tackle too.
I like the kid. I think he will be a gun for us, hence why the coaches & leaders are prepared to place their trust in him.
He comes from a family that wants to win.

From memory ROK had bone bruising in a pre-season and it was a 6-week or so injury. Shins take a lot of stress, so i can see how it would be a difficult one to manage.

He's copped some heavy knocks to his legs. There was that one in the grand final where he got hit as he knocked the ball forward into the fifty. And I seem to remember a virtually identical incident this season. I wonder if it's related to those, or if it's just a running injury?
