I'd rather have a player with confidence than someone who doesn't believe in his own ability ;)

You can have confidence and not be a dick. Larry Fitzgerald just one of many examples.

did everyone check out the strength of schedule predictions

Carolina number 1 and Broncs 32

we play KC, SD and Oakland twice and Redskins, Ravens, Jacksonville and Titans as our other home games
Dallas and NE away are the ones I think will challenge us and also the manning bowl

pre season prediction is at least 11 win aim for 14 to improve on last year

Peyton 50 touchdowns :p

Todd McShay said the only first round grade he gave for QB was GENO SMITH.. has all the tools just needs for his interviews and evaluations to checkout.

Said he is a TOP 20 pick could go higher cuz need.

Report: This year’s “throwing QBs” at Combine will be James Vandenberg, Colby Cameron and Tyler Bray. Generally reserved for low ranked QBs

Matt Miller‏@nfldraftscout
Zac Dysert, Collin Klein, Sean Renfree, Marqueis Gray all received higher grades from numerous NFL teams. Thus Bray being a “throwing QB”.

Matt Miller‏@nfldraftscout
To clear up any confusion, a “Throwing QB” is invited to the Combine to throw for drills. Not a good thing.

Everything I’m hearing today points to teams really not liking Tyler Bray. Still early, but reports aren’t kind.

Then out in the divisional round again :D

I don't think it requires a genius to tell us that this is a weak year for QBs. Barkley regressed, Landry didn't improve, and if Geno Smith didn't put up Madden kind of numbers this year there would be no consensus #1. Some are talking up Glennon and Wilson, but teams are going to reach if there's more than one QB taken in the first round.

It's a great draft if you want OL or DL help though....

But why would you trade your teams MVP? o_O

There's some very good defensive talent this year. Safety goes quite deep to add to the DL.

I have a sneaking suspicion there may be some excellent WR talent found in the second and third rounds this year.

No Khaseem Greene who has been rising up draft boards by all reports and DeAndre Hopkins either who I quite like.

^Wouldn't be surprised if we gave him a look. With Clemons' ACL there is no guarantee he'll come back and play the way he did. As a stop gap measure we could do worse and he's talked about wanting to play in Seattle before (the 12th man would help pad his stats).

With access to NFL Players Association data, Rotoworld can generate the most accurate free agent list on the internet. The players are ranked in order of how we see them being valued on the open market.

Keep in mind that franchise tags can deplete the top of the free-agent market. Baltimore’s Joe Flacco is an obvious franchise candidate due to unwieldy contract demands following a mammoth Super Bowl run. Jairus Byrd in Buffalo will receive strong franchise-tag consideration as well.

2013 free agency will commence on the afternoon of March 12.

A couple of things with SoS.

Often the better analyzer is an 'at the time' SoS...calculated as each team plays a game, their opponent's record at the time.

That aside, this season's SoS is a lot closer than in recent years. There's only about a tenth of a percent difference between the hardest schedule and the easiest schedule....compared to many other previous years.

The Toughest Offseason Decision Every NFL Team Must Make in 2013

hi-res-160661643_crop_650x440.jpg

As we enter the 2013 NFL offseason, every team has needs and decisions to make, some harder than others.

These are the big ones; the elephants in the room. The NFL is a business, and its inner workings are something that fans can either follow or ignore.
Some fans see the NFL simply as the fantastic on-camera product that it is. Others don't care what goes into the product they buy tickets to see or tune in to watch on Sundays.

The NFL is the greatest product in the world. Some choose to enjoy the games for what they are, while others choose to look deeper.

Within these slides, many questions are presented, but few answers are given.

Welcome to the 2013 NFL offseason.
