How would you approach Bellchambers for Sidebottom?

I'd be happy to do the trade straight up.

I'd be more interested in a Seedsman type - We have a greater need for a hard-running,outside player.

As an outsider that trade looks really good. I'm sure both clubs would be really happy with that and both players would thrive.

Kreuzer is highly valued and will be part of leadership group in 2-3 years.
Yarran is a game breaker that needs consistency.

GWS forward line of Franklin, Patton & Cameron is far too top heavy when the ball hits the ground.

Whoa! Yarran was playing full games and leading the Blues goal kicking until he strained a hammy. Second game back from the hammy on a wet track he was made the sub, and then had that issue of body language that's been addressed; and his effort and workrate coming on from that last week was really good.

He was ordinary in 2012 after sustaining a toe-turf injury in the preseason that plagued him most of the year. Sandilands was kept out most of the season with the same injury.

Your post is hyperbolic rubbish and your claim he is a dickhead is completely unsubstantiated in reality. But rather than concede you perhaps overdid it, you push on adding up 1+1 into 3 o_O

Time will prove who is correct on this one. You are a one eyed blues fan that wont hear anything negative about one of your players and that ok. You probably thought Fev was misunderstood !!!

I know for a fact that Hawthorn had him on the "do not draft under any circumstances" policy similar to Dayle Garlett. But that was a few years ago so he could have grown up a bit.

LOL

No you don't - because I know for a fact Hawthorn had him very highly rated in 2008.

Comparison's to Dayle Garlett?! Please.

He is worth a late first rounder, proven ruckman in a top 2 side, with a stack of potential long-term. He is easily worth a pick in the early teens.
Just because he is in a top 2 side doesnt make him any better.
Your ruck stocks are lacking, he wouldnt be getting a game at a few other clubs (West Coast, Sydney etc). You would be lucky to get a first rounder for him, but lets face it why are you even looking to trade him when you dont have anyone to replace him?

Carlton give up: Kreuzer, pick 9 and pay half of Kreuzer's salary next year.
Carlton get: PIck 1, Adams and pick 20. Also frees up more money to chase Thomas.

GWS give up: pick 1, Adams and pick 20
GWS get: Kreuzer, pick 9 and half of Kreuzer's salary paid which allows them to still have plenty of money for Buddy.

BTW I would never do this because Kreuzer showed loyalty to us and turned down a big money offer from GWS

Hampson or Warnock
Yarran
Blues First Pick
Pick swap to give a bit back to the Blues

GWS don't need a superstar ruckman, they need someone who will get first hands on it, provide physicality and ruck a whole season while giving the young guys a chance to develop. Both Hampson or Warnock fit the bill, they're just not getting a chance as Kreuzer plays best as lone ruck. Same situation as Essendon with Ryder & Bellchambers.

He never really took the next step.

Unfortunately not. He just looks so lazy running around out there.

I hope Scott Clayton remains a man of his word though.

"It was very clear a while ago that Matthew Kreuzer, Trent Cotchin and Cale Morton were going to be three players gone before our pick (No. 5)," Clayton said at the time.

"If Jarrad Grant's not the next best player after them, then I'll swim to Williamstown from here."

I thought Jenkins was a ruck that can play forward. Ironically enough he is from Essendon too.

He is, but his rucking isnt up to standard.
We need more depth in the position anyway, with really only McKernan and Graham :)() behind Sauce.
There is no competition for his spot this year and may be one of the reasons hes playing poorly.

Fairly close, but I doubt the Giants would do it, only because Adams is performing, so you MAY need a sweetener, not much but you probably need a sweetener.
Looks fair to me. Adams is out of contract so if the Saints can motivate him to come to them as his preference then GWS would be forced to come to a deal or risk losing him for nothing. It's hard to negotiate if the player has no contract like Jacobs when he went to Adelaide.
